I regretfully cheated on my beloved Pyrex liquid measuring cup because times are tough, and money is tight. I had lost my original set during a move and desperately needed a liquid measuring cup. I went to the local Dollar Store and picked one up for a buck and some change. Within no time at all the print to show the measurements had worn off, this has never happened with my Pyrex. I pushed ahead with using the Dollar Tree measuring cup because you could still vaguely see the ghost of the measurements and my wallet still had moths flying out when I opened it. Then not long after the paint had worn this poorly made plastic liquid measuring cup cracked to the point that it would no longer hold the liquid that was being placed in it. In a hulk like rage, I crushed that measuring cup with my hands and threw it in the trash because Pyrex also never cracked under pressure. Pyrex is made of glass. Pyrex is strong and willing to do whatever job you needed it too. I am able to place it in the microwave and do things with it that the cheap one never could. I immediately went to Amazon and ordered my beloved Pyrex liquid measuring cups to which I made a promise that I will never try something like that again.

This cup set has quickly become one of the things I use most in my kitchen. It comes with both a 1-cup and a 2-cup measuring cup, so I always seem to have the right size for whatever I'm making. I've used them for everything from measuring ingredients while baking to heating butter in the microwave. When I'm done, I just throw them in the dishwasher, which makes cleanup super easy. If you're looking for a durable, everyday measuring cup set, I definitely think these are worth ordering!

You absolutely cannot go wrong with the classic Pyrex glass measuring cups, and getting this 2-pack delivered right to my door was awesome. I didn't have to hit up another store just to find them Amazon for the win! The glass is heavy-duty, handles microwave heat perfectly, and the red measurement lines are incredibly easy to read. They wash up clean in the dishwasher without the numbers fading. Absolute staple for the kitchen and a super convenient purchase!

The two pack is two different sizes. They are well marked and they seem sturdy enough. The Pyrex label is bright red in ways that surprised us and the handles are fine for economics but not for being able to put them on a hook or anything above our baking area so they have to be stored behind a cupboard door unless you want the brand name broadcasting in your kitchen. Overall really good value for the price

I’ve been using these cups in my kitchen for a few weeks now. I originally bought them on the recommendation of a friend who loves cooking, and after trying them myself I can see why. The glass feels sturdy—these aren’t thin or fragile—and I like that sense of durability when I pick them up. The markings are clear and easy to read, even when the liquid is filled close to the top. Another thing I appreciate is that they don’t seem to stain or hold onto odors, even after using them for tomato sauces or coffee.In practice, the measurements have been reliable. I compared a few pours with a scale and they were close enough for everyday cooking and baking. The spout design is decent, though not super precise, if you pour quickly, you might notice a little dribble down the side.One thing to keep in mind is that they can feel a bit heavy when filled to the top, which might be an issue for someone with less grip strength, though it hasn’t been a problem for me in normal use. Also, when my friend showed me her older set, I noticed some of the measurement markings had worn down. She admitted she scrubs hers pretty aggressively, so I’ve been a bit gentler with cleaning mine, and so far the markings are holding up fine.
