Callaway Supersoft Max Golf Balls 12B PK

The Callaway Max seems to be more durable than other "soft" golf balls, but it will still show slight damage if bounced off of concrete or rock. It looks like a premium quality ball, but at less than half the price. Great distance and decent control around the greens. Hi-visibility yellow color has been perfected by Callaway and I really appreciate being able to see and track these balls on the course. These balls are larger than most other golf balls, so that may also have something to do with them being more visible. The downside of the larger size is that they won't fit in most ball washers, which was a surprise to me. I did an informal distance comparison between this ball, my Srixon Soft Feel golf balls and my Bridgestone e6 balls. The Callaway Supersoft Max seems to consistently go about 10 yards further off the tee, when hit with a PXG 0211 Driver set at 9 degrees of loft. This was also a surprise, since one might expect a smaller ball to out-distance a larger one. I have heard it explained that the non-conforming balls marketed as "illegal distance", or something to that effect, achieve longer distance by being smaller than regulation golf balls. I used to hit some of those when I was younger and typically out drove all my playing partners. Many years later, my game is all about control, especially around the greens. Having tried a number of these newer so-called "soft" golf balls, the Supersoft Max is my current favorite.

Bought these for my husband before he went golfing. He was happy with how they hit and said they were a good value for the price.

Maybe it's just me thinking this golf ball helps me achieve straighter, longer drives, but I think it does. They have a softer feel, and the only problem is I need to clearly mark my ball, as my playing partners are also using this ball! I will need to order more as this is my 'go-to' ball since I switched from Srixon. Callaway is a reliable brand for me and high quality.

I like the color and how I hit the ball with these Calloways. However, my putter doesn't easily scoop them up as they are not standard size. Other than that they are good quality and visibility.

I love this ball, period! I’m 58 years old and play to a 6 handicap now (I’ve lowered my handicap since using the Max). I’ve been experimenting with different balls (Vice Pro Soft, Callaway Super Soft, Srixon Soft and a few others). I had settled on the Vice Pro Soft and was very happy with it. Well, I missed a fairway by a mile several weeks ago and I found a Callaway Max. Just for grins, because I had heard about the ball, I hit a second drive off the next tee with the Max and it went past my Vice ball by about 10 yards. Nothing to write home about, but 10 yards is 10 yards and it just felt good off the face with a solid straight ball flight that fit my eye. So, I decided to order a dozen to try out with a real round. Well, the Max is my ball going forward. I will say, this ball is not for someone that wants to shape shots. But, it’s not just for high handicappers like some have said. Low handicappers that like very straight, consistent, predictable shots with a little more distance will benefit with this ball too. Putting with the Max took about a round to get used too, but it has now improved my lag putting significantly. All said, while playing this ball, I’ve taken two strokes off my average and my confidence in hitting flush shots is sky high.

The callaway max balls are awesome. They definitely lunch higher then my go to ball the Taylormade tour. A little shorter with the driver but definitely make up for that with the irons lunch a 5 iron like your hitting a 7 . So if you have any problems getting the ball up this is your best option with out having to do anything like changing shafts or going to hybrids . The ball is a little tiny minute bigger but you can’t tell unless a standard ball is right next to it and even then you have to hold them next to each other to really tell. They feel soft of the face of the clubs . And soft off the putter . I really enjoyed playing them . I’ll keep close watch on my scores for a few weeks and see if they are actually saving me any strokes . But overall they are very good ballls and for half the price of the so called premium balls you can’t go wrong it’s a no brainer. Save the cash for tipping the beer girls 🤗

I really like hitting these balls. You can argue that putting is slightly harder, but I have not notice. I have noticed straighter drives. Distance is the same.
