I used it for hanging curtain. This rod is very easy to install. I’m using it outside to hang shade curtains. Very sturdy

This is an amazing tension rod. We wanted something to be able to cover an area of our church basement that would disguise and eye sore. Before asking for holes drilled into the concrete walls, I decided to try a tension rod. I wasn't sure it would be strong enough to span a 9.5-foot span, but it is! We used it to hang curtains and banners! It was easy to assemble, and due to the length, it was a little awkward to install, however it worked great! Nice secure hold. Nice design. Very pleased with this product.

The product: I ended up ordering 2 different sizes of the rods. I struggled to install the rod outdoors on my patio and scraped up the end cap trying to force it to fit. I had tried to adjust the rod to tighten it, but it wouldn't budge. I contacted Parutta and they guided me on what I was doing wrong. Once up, I was able to hang my solar chimes and now I can go shopping for hanging plants! It works perfectly as I had imagined it!The other rod was much longer and I'm thinking of keeping it in my kitchen to hang things and create extra storage. I had planned to divide it into different "zones" to break up the industrial appearance of the rod. Although the rod came with a support hook, I was trying to avoid installing it as I've just moved into an apartment. But because it is over 130" long, it sags slightly in the middle... so I'm going to have to think harder about it's use.I've included pics. (Ignore the mess, I'm just moving in)The Company: I had a wonderful experience with Parutta Home. They very patiently guided me through the process of installing the tension rod outdoors on my apartment patio to hang chimes and planters without creating holes in the building. Works well, looks good, tension is strong

I bought this to hang clothes on due to high weight capacity… it was very hard to instal and had to have help.
