Great and Versatile Camera
Photos attached to the review were shot with the Tamron 70-300 mm lensBeginner photographer here, wanted to buy a entry level/intermediate camera - this is definitely it. The Tamron lens it comes with is great quality, not cheap plastic, same for the base 18-55 mm lens. Camera works well, takes great photos, operates with no issues. The screen is high-quality build and the touch-screen is extremely responsive. WiFi and Bluetooth also work extremely well, no connectivity issues. Everything was also packaged very well, no issues there. Everything came in one piece. The only issue I had was the external flash attachment is not compatible with the camera - yes I did install it properly and the AA batteries were in. Settings on camera would not accept it. However, the built-in flash is definitely more than enough, so it's not really needed for everyday shooting.Overall, this is a really good camera for those interested in photography, does everything I need it to. The only thing I would improve on the kit would be to include an extra battery, but those are easily purchased through amazon, just make sure it is an original Canon battery - this camera may give problems with anything else. One other added note: if you are expecting a high-quality tri-pod to come with this kit, you definitely will be wanting to buy a separate one. The one that comes with this kit is EXTREMELY cheap quality, cheap plastic, and thin aluminum. Plus it's very short, I think it tops out at around 55". I would not trust attaching a DSLR with the 70-300mm Tamron and a battery pack to that thing. You are much better off shopping around for A): A taller tri-pod, and B): a much higher quality one.

X 2.2 Telephoto is worthless.
I just started to make use of the components in this kit. I have no complaints except for the Commander lenses. I attached them to the supplied 18-55 mm lens, and three images are supplied. Examining them indicates that they obviously are not meant for the supplied 18-55 lens. (But there is nothing else that those lens fit)The first is with the standard lens zoomed 'out', You get a telescopic black circle. The second is with the standard lens zoomed 'in'. The focus is only in the center of the image, and the black ring is still partially present on the edges. The example images in the description are not what you can expect. The third is the MACRO lens, closeup of a stuffed bear. This is closer to what I would expect from a MACRO lens, how the focal depth is very narrow, and only in the center. Also, the tripod is rather weak. I am not sure it could hold the camera plus the heavier Tamron lens.In Summary, the Commander lens add no value to the package. However the value of the package for the other pieces is worth it.

A value for money package
Having made up my mind that I wanted the EOS 800D (Rebel T7i in the US) I set about looking at the various package options. I settled for this one because the two lenses gave me an excellent range coverage and the filters would be most useful. It all arrived well boxed and packaged. Camera and lenses are amazing and easy to operate and worth the money in themselves. The additional pieces are useful but not always needed. The tripod will not last very long and is not quality material. The additional small lenses are also to be fitted to the front of the normal lens and are more gimmicky than useful to be honest. The most useful 'extras' were the remote, the slave flash, filters, small (gorilla type) tripod, the memory cards and holder and the cleaning kit.So, bottom line is am I glad I bought this? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Definitely, but it depends upon what you want. Having worked with cameras before, I knew the Tamron lens and quality and knew I would be happy. The camera is a pleasure to work with and I'm looking forward to getting creative.

I'm not a professional.
So first of all, I wasn't sure I wanted the Canon 80D or T7i. I decided on the T7i mainly for the lower cost. The bundle came in a sealed box that was inside a bigger box. After opening the bundle, my first impression, this is a lot of stuff. My second impression is the camera and lenses packaging. It felt as though they had been repackaged. The Tamron lens box had a label on top of the box that was torn off. The Canon camera and lens were in plastic but not neatly packaged as you would expect when opening a new product. The instruction booklet was laying on top and out of place. I did contact the seller and ask him if the equipment was new or refurbished. The seller didn't answer the question just wanted me to make sure everything was in the bundle package. I take that he didn't want to answer the initial question. Maybe he didn't know. Anyways on to the bundle. I don't know if I will ever use the macro lens and filter lens but it's available if I want to go down that road. We took the camera and Canon 55mm and Tamron 300mm to our local park and zoo and practiced using the camera and two lenses. The camera takes some getting used to with all the different modes, however I'm extremely pleased with the Canon camera and lens. You'll love the Canon AV mode. I can't say that I'm pleased with the Tamron lens. It feels clunky to me but the pictures seem to be ok. There are several places on the internet that will rent better lenses at a reasonable price. Changing the lenses is a great advantage over the point and shoot cameras. The tree pictures are from the Tamron lens un-zoomed and zoomed. The Canon WI-fi was easy to set up. I couldn't get the WI-fi to work with two iPhones. Unless it's operator error, the WI-fi appears to connect with one phone at a time. Other nice items in the bundle: the camera battery car charger, the external flash, the telephoto and wide angle lens adapters. I'm satisfied with the purchase. It was a good price.

Camera/lens great, accessories not great.
Just received my camera bundle. Everything was packed securely. Camera and lens look as pictured. The rating comes from the rest of the cheap no name /Vivitar accessories that are sold at Walmart. They aren't even what is pictured. Disappointed because I will need a waterproof bag, and a sturdy camera hand strap, and a sturdy tripod, not what I got. Buyers remorse.
