Great legs at a reasonable price!
These are a great set of sturdy legs. Stability is good for astrophotography and are relatively light weight. Benro are a great company and the price is usually very reasonable! I have had this set for years now, and I'm very happy with them overall. The only minor complaints I have after years of us are; that one of the legs is slipping when I push down on it (can probably be fixed by stripping and clearing), and that the rubber feet have come loose and can no longer be unscrewed.

Quality Equipment at Value for Money Price
This tripod replaces my old Manfrotto 055ProB, which was just getting too heavy to lug around. This Benro is my first CF tripod, and I am thoroughly impressed. The 4 leg sections initially made me nervous, as I expected a 4 section, CF leg set to be not that stable. How wrong was I? This tripod is sturdy, solid, quality built and is easy to carry around. Some comments mention it is a "bit heavy", but this will depend on which head you place on it. Personally, I went for a ball head from Highlights, and the two complement each other perfectly. The tripod comes with a short centre column (aluminium) which I use all the time, a tool bag with interchangeable metal spikes, a quality carry case with strap - all very nicely presented and packaged. It is a quality product and it supports my Nikon DSLR with heavy zoom lenses from 14mm to 200mm. I am 6'2", and when my chosen ball head and camera is placed on top of the tripod (without any centre column extension), the camera is at eye level, without bending over at all. It's tall, and I love it!!

Sturdy tripod at a reasonable price
No dislikes. Bought to replace my Manfrotto 190. This is very sturdy tall especially when the centre column is extended. The short column is also useful. Comes complete with a great storage bag only gripe is the bag is too small when my Benro geared head is fitted. Haven’t tried the spiked feet yet.

Superb Tripod - Shame about the seller.
Superbly steady tripod. Would easily compete with very much more expensive Gitzo models. Definitely recommended. Before my item even arrived, price went down by £12. Queried with the seller who stated that they would refund the £12 when transaction completed. IT NEVER HAPPENED, Queried six weeks later and was told that it was not up to them but it was up to Amazon and I had to contact them. I really can't be bothered. I wont ever use them again.

Staggeringly Well Made & Seriously Sturdy
As a property interiors photographer I was looking something a little lighter than my heavy duty aluminium Manfrotto which has served me well enough over the years, but I had become tired of having to tighten up the leg locks far more often than I would have liked. Bought this Benro on the back of the great reviews and I haven't been disappointed as it's staggeringly well made, super sturdy and a nice weight.

Love it
This was an upgrade from a manfrotto 190 and it’s a different class. I needed something solid for interior photography, taking multiple exposures and this is perfect. It also feels lightweight and the twist locks are easy to use. Feels like very good quality

Nice Tripod
I absolutely love this tripod. I would not have considered Benro prior to this purchase and I was very wary of the quality. However, it has exceeded all my expectations and is absolute value for money. Don't like the blue coloured ring but that only the colour because I like tripods to be plain. However, spare spike, case tools and feet and as sturdy and stable as it can get.

Solid Workhorse
This tripod is extremely well built, very sturdy and light for its payload. Twist locks are a delight.

Very sturdy, adjustments (legs center column) are smooth and secure and easily accessed with short small movements. Very lightweight however the lightness has one small drawback in that the legs are not heavy enough to fall out when released and must be manually extended somewhat. Not an issue with me. Also the screw locks on the legs while very smooth are not as quick as lever locks. Also not a problem for me. I like that the feet are screw in (also very smooth and sturdy) and not a cap. Comes with spike feet if needed for more stability. Also I like how the legs can be unlocked with one movement of a clip to flair out and get very close to the ground. It also comes with a second center column thats shorter for this purpose. As far as height, it will extend out 69" without the center stand which adds approx 12" more. The whole thing comes in a nice nylon carrying case with 2 side pockets for accessories and a nice cloth inner case for the tripod itself. Also has with a small tool set with an open end and allen head wrench to tighten up anything that may work loose. I have not used it long enough to see for sure but I dont see anything working loose anytime soon. Just seems like every screw or nut is such close tolerance that the tools wont be necessary. A bit pricey at 450 but well worth it.

Very much impressed. Solid and very stable. The leg collars are large thus giving a good grip and easily tightened. The rubber feet are stellar. They stick to a floor like glue. The spikes are going to be usufull in my case. Outdoors photographer. Windy places. I need steady. This foots the bill.

Upgraded from my travel tripod to something more sturdy. Excellent quality, legs glide with ease on setting up and closing down. Topped of with a solid Benro Gx30 bullhead, the set up has with stood strong winds and gusts, and all photos produced without blur. Slightly on the heavy side but that’s to be expected from such a large tripod. Highly recommend Bento anytime.
