These are great value and work amazing on solar panels, allowing you to adjust the angle easily (pivot one side). You get everything to also make a water tight seal (washers) which is great for this price however I always put some polymer adhesive on to be extra sure.

I used them to make 3 bar fittings to hole me pull out awning on my van. Brilliantly done too, works a treat.

I chose this because (once the winter is over) I need to make myself a A0 sized drawing board from wood.Which, given the size, will need some very strong and good quality movable brackets. Something that these brackets certainly are, especially as they are made from aluminum.They are nicely smooth, with no sharp edges, so there's no danger of cut fingers. The holes are also nicely cut with no misalignment. There's also 2 precut rubber seals for mounting onto delicate surfaces.Plus I like how the bolts on the movable parts can use an allen key and spanner, neither are provided.So these will be nice and easy to adjust if needed. I could also see these being useful for a lot of other workshop projects. Such as adjustable lighting or when making jigs.

I ordered these to rig up some small solar panels on my shed and garage. These are really designed to be used with full size panels for house roofs however they are built such their application can easily be varied.I will be attaching wooden batons to mine and then attaching the panels to the wood. Essential making use of the base fastenings and the angle adjustment mechanism. They arrive pre-drilled but they are aluminium and additional holes can be drilled without much fuss if necessary.They will be good for a horizontal surface or an angled roof surface but they wouldn't really work on a vertical wall as there would be no room to provide an adequate tilt to get an optimum angle with the sun.

The hinge is a little 'sloppy' fit but strongly made useful to build in a tilt to my array.
