Originally the sellers listed that the buyers "would receive a pair of lamps," which attracted me to purchase this lamp. The photos seemed adequate and the price was about $9-10 less than what they are selling it for now. The seller said that they made a mistake in the listing and refused to honor what they advertised on Amazon after I contacted them. They offered to work out a special deal if I wanted to buy another lamp, but gave no specific "deal" price.Pros: Decent real wood legs and item arrived quickly, but in two separate deliveries, the wooden legs stand came first, then about a week later the searchlight came. I was prepared to accept a single lamp if the legs were any indication of what the searchlight would look like. To my extreme dismay, the lamp is poor quality in build, materials and workmanship. The light attachment bar/ring is loose no matter how tight I turn the nut. I am not even sure what type of material it is made of. It has a cheap antique golds spray paint job, some parts of the light fixture feel like spray painted plastic, or aluminum or thin sheet metal. No instructions came with the item, I do not see a UL listing, nor is there a recommended safe max wattage sticker anywhere on the lamp. It us put together, never used nor even has a lightbulb in the socket. I enjoy shopping and browsing on Amazon and now truly understand that I should stick with recognized brands who have quality standards.
