Costa Rica: A Journey Through Nature

We took a trip to Costa Rica last month. I saw this book while we were in Costa Rica but got it cheaper at Amazon. It is a beautiful book and makes my memories of Costa Rica come alive. It looks great on my coffee table too.

Having just visited, I wanted a souvenir book. I saw some at the airport there but they were so expensive. This was just right - a photographic book full of beautiful pictures of the nature of Costa Rica and its regions. Makes me want to go back!

Der Bildband über Costa Rica enthält sehr schöne und hochwertige Fotos, überwiegend zur Tierwelt. Aber auch Pflanzen und Landschaften werden gezeigt. Zu den Bildern gibt es kurze Texte die etwas zum Tier, zur Pflanze oder zur Region erklären. Das ganze ist zwar auf Englisch, aber ich fand es recht gut verständlich. Das Buch ist in die verschieden Regionen von Costa Rica aufgeteilt. Es ist kein "Fotobuch", daher fehlen Informationen über Kameraeinstellungen oder Brennweiten. Aber das ist ja auch nicht der Sinn dieses Buches. Ein sehr schönes Buch das Lust auf einen Besuch in Costa Rica macht
