it was good but i was expecting a product out of normal. Full of energy but i was disappointed in that area

OK taste which I was keen to try, they did a great job improving this to get to the modern western recipe.

First of all, let me just say that I love this stuff! I first encountered Krating Daeng in Thailand and immediately fell in love with it. It differs slightly from the stuff we get in the west, it's un-carbonated, sweeter, has more caffeine, and it has a more 'concentrated' taste to it making the western stuff seem watered down.In comparison to red bull it has got more caffeine/ml, but it comes in smaller bottles, so unless you have a few of them you won't notice the difference too much. Also the ingredients are practically the same, so everyone hoping for some kind of energy kick due to drugs such as ephedrine will be sadly disappointed.Now comes the reason why I've only given this 4 stars. Krating Daeng is actually VERY cheap, something that isn't shown here, £5 for one bottle is crazy! In Thailand this stuff sells for the equivalent of about 15p! I would definitely recommend this product, just not from this seller. After a brief google search, I found websites that sell this for prices ranging from 50-99p, which is still expensive by Thai standards, but much more reasonable than this. They also sell variations of Krating Daeng I'd highly recommend such as "Theoplex-L", so have a look if you're interested.
