Having read the reviews looking at many different Clothes Aires I discovered this model on Amazon and by Salter being one of the great names in homeware and most of the reviews being positive I purchased this by Salter. Received well packed and 1st impressions were of its lightness which would be down to modern materials being used yet sturdy frame. Lots of hanging space too. We still have a similar Clothes Airer which we have used for many years is twice the weight and although still in use is now showing its age. This modern Airer is easy to open and close and the fold out hooks at each of the top corners of the Airer for coat hanging for shirts and long garments is a bonus. This Airer is excellent and I personally would recommend to anyone thinking of changing their old style clothes Airer to give this model every consideration.

Very sturdy but one hanger bent. But otherwise very happy. Love the coat hanger extension onto the end on the top part.

Really impressed with this clothes horse, very well made, loads of drying space, the extra hanging parts on the corners are brilliant. Highly recommend.

Really happy with the size of the airer, it fit a whole wash load on! Lovely colour also.

It's a sturdy clothes airer but much too narrow to hang t.shirts,jumpers, & hand towels, on without folding or creasing. The shirt/blouse hanger attached to sides for extra drying space kept falling off. Unfortunately l was unable to return as was incapacitated for returns timelimit.

........by the usual standards of these things, but folding clothes airers do, I suppose, have to meet a number of challenges. They need to be lightweight and fold down to a minimum size for storage, so lots of articulated joints. At the same time they have to be able to support the weight of washing which might still be dripping wet without rusting or deteriorating. I think this one manages all that quite well. It's nicely finished; it's reasonably substantial but still rather light, it folds well. It's more expensive than some others with some strange names and the brand - Salter - is what swung the decision for me. I trusted that a known brand wouldn't allow a poor quality item to prejudice a reputation (not always true!) and on this occasion was right. Very happy with this purchase.

This has definitely come in handy lately with all the rain we've had. It's a good size and quite tall so things don't trail on the floor. Folds flat for storage. Not especially sturdy but so far so good. I would definitely recommend it.
