Vega-Trem VT1 2-Points Glossy Stratocaster Guitar Tremolo Bridge For Strat No Mods Easy Installation

After a lot of research on this tremolo via reviews and videos... I finally decided to give this unit a try...It's a fairly easy install... but, it still helps to have some technical knowledge about guitar repair/service...I used the Vega-Trem to replace another upgrade replacement tremolo that uses a spring steel flex/pivot point. That older system was very stiff... and, I tried every possible action to resolve that stiffness... but, I could never remedy the problem. Until, I came across the Vega-Trem... I checked out a video review/how to install video... and, decided to give it a try. I ordered it... and, it arrived in a day... I was very impressed with that!!! The unit took about 45 minutes to install... including setting up the (height) action and intonation. I managed to get the lowest action on this particular guitar than I was ever able to achieve before. The Vega-Trem absolutely improved my guitar 100 %... It is so much more playable than it was before the Vega-Trem... The action on the strings is much more comfortable and easier on my fingers...Bending the strings and using the tremolo are much more pleasant to do... And, the sustain and resonance of this bridge is amazing!!! I have to say that this is one of the best tremolo units to come along in a long time... since the locking trems were first introduced... Tuning stability is also excellent with this tremolo... but, I would highly recommend installing some locking tuners to really help with tuning stability... and, locking tuners also makes string changes so much faster and easier...I highly recommend the Vega-Trem to anyone looking to replace their existing tremolo with a no modification required installation. This tremolo covers all manners of playing styles from gentle bends and pitch voicings... to an aggressive dive-bombing style of playing... You won't be sorry if you decide to try the Vega-Trem... I will be installing another one of these tremolos on another one of my other guitars that had the similar problem as the previous one... I think that the negative reviews on the Vega-Trem were done by inexperienced guitar tinkerers... or they were just impatient with the installation...Anyway, the Vega-Trem is just freaking awesome!!!!

I put the Vega-Trem to replace the previously-installed Gotoh 510 which was too stiff. I don't go wild with a tremolo--just use it for subtle accents in places. The Vega-Trem is silky smooth and perfect for this. I found the tuning stability to be excellent, but not perfect, as sometimes it did not quite return to absolute zero. I added a tremolo stopper, so the bridge is now forward-dive only, but that's fine for my uses and now the tuning stability is flawless. Plus, tuning is quicker than with float mode because I don't have to continually chase my tail pursuing equilibrium between six strings and the bridge springs. Also, now I won't have a complete disaster on my hands if I happen to break a string in the middle of a song. Installation was straightforward, instructions were clear, plus there are a lot of YouTube videos that are pretty helpful. The bridge is solid, well-made, with exceptional machining.

For 289 I don’t know how this slipped through QC. I ordered black and received diseased green. I have heard this tremolo is amazing from everywhere and everyone. Hopefully I’m just an unlucky person and this isn’t a constant issue. I have ordered another one and will update you all on if it comes correct. Shame on Vega tremUpdate 7/26/2023: received new Vega trem. Still diseased green. Absolute pos qc. I will try again most likely.Update 7/31/2023: I bought 5 more to prove a point. All came in horrible condition. Please rethink purchasing a black trem unless you want to join my journey. I should hopefully be receiving a correct black one since I got into contact with the company. Will update you.Update 8/10/2023: Received a New Trem directly from their factory in Spain. Came in perfect and looks amazing. Holds tune well and is a very crispy tremolo.If only this was my experience from the start I would 5 star it. Good luck to everyone!

I was looking for a upgrade/ replacement tremolo for my strat but I didn't want to alter the body, the vega trem was a perfect drop in replacement, it was a easy installation and set up. The Vega trem is well made with a very nice finish plus it has locking adjusters so when you are setting your intonation you can lock it down. I have had no problems with the guitar going out of tune when using the tremolo. This is a very well made tremolo, if you are considering updating your old antiquated fender tremolo you should definitely consider the Vega trem

Its it cheap, NO. Is it AMAZING, YES!! Fits my MiM Strat Body perfectly, allows me the creativity of other trems but none of the permanent body mods. Takes a while to dial it it but after that forget about it, she stay in tune and playing an entire VH set. I would suggest locking tuners with this just trem just for the added stability, but I cannot say there woul d be issues as I already had locking tuners on this particular ax.

The construction is solid and installation was straightforward. The instructions could be significantly better but there are good videos on YT. I would have given 5 stars, but it’s fairly expensive and the saddle on the low E string should have been rounded more as the edge catches my palm.

Easy to use and easy to install. Check your measurements before you buy! Works best foe Fender Strats or copy!
