KIST Best Over Bed TableTM Overbed Adjustable Tilt Table Brown

I spent hours and hours researching a table that would fit my needs. This is literally the best over bed table I could find. It doesn't fit the purpose I purchased it for quite perfectly, but that's due to my own room layout and not the fault of the table. Even so, it comes pretty close.The good things:-Fantastic quality craftsmanship using industrial grade steel and mahogany materials.Sturdy under weighty items, my beasty gaming laptop and cool pad weigh a combined 12 lbs and this table takes it, even on tilt with the laptop balancing on the very edge, with absolute no problem at all. There is absolutely no flex in the table even with your arms resting on it too. An absolute key product advantage.Aesthetically pleasing.Superb 90 degree tilt and 360 degree swivel/rotation features for absolute flexibility of use.Outstanding customer service from the staff at Kist, who have responded to my emails and questions promptly and politely.Bad things:-Height adjustment wheel is an absolute pain to turn. It has a slight bit of resistance and takes about 30 turns just to move the table up a couple of CM. (I've spoken to Kist and they say they are working on an electronic vertical travel which will make height adjustment much more simple. Credit to them for continually working on improving their product.)Locking mechanism is also a bit primitive, with a turn based knob which can also prove a pain. Depending on how you use the table it is also on the wrong side of the vertical pole, meaning it's difficult to use if you have the table up against the side of a chair. However I can understand the beneficial nature of this knob position if using the table over a bed. Also takes a while to turn, not good if you need to get out quickly.Too big to utilise in small or tight spaces. The aforementioned knob is too long and protrudes too much, blocking the table from fitting between my bed and chair. I've had to remove it on order to fit, which means the table is loose and keeps swinging out. Hence why these design flaws make it unsuitable for my exact needs.Too high if you're sitting in a chair, especially if it has a low seat height. I've had to remove the castors in order to bring the table down a notch. Even on it's lowest setting it's still a bit high. Needs to go lower.Slightly difficult assembly where I had to bash the table into the vertical pole and nearly broke my hand. I imagine this would make it impossible to disassemble, making it impractical if you move house or are planning on returning it.Overall: -It's not perfect. But save for a few design flaws it could be. Due to that, it just falls short with 4 stars. Originally I gave this 3 stars due to not fitting my needs, but aware it wasn't designed with me solely in mind, as an overall product it's solid. Compared to it's competition, it blows everything else out of the water and is perfect for what most people would intend on using it for. Biggest let down is the price. It seems you have to pay for the "best". If it didn't have the flaws mentioned, it might be worth it, But I was encouraged by the fact the company is still committed to making it better. Therefore, I would recommend buying only if it would be an absolute essential item used on a daily basis, or you simply like to splash the cash on something with a bit of quality.

I initially had a couple of issues with this table but the seller responded exceptionally quickly and the issue was resolved. This table is expensive but well worth the money for the size and functionality it offers. It is a super high quality build and will last forever! My only continued little gripe is the release knob for the 360 turn function is very hard to tighten/loosen and this is the function I use the most but overall I am thrilled with this table

Have to say this is my best buy on Amazon. Absolutely love it, great quality looks lovely very sturdy. I put a Non-Slip Mat on the tilt part and a Heat-Resistant Non-Slip Mat on the flat part for my coffee. The only downside I have accidentally hit my cat with the screw nob underneath the tilt table when I swung it away slowly from the bed, he likes to sleep on my lap. I have raised the table and put it on a tilt so he has more room now, but hes by my side instead. looks like its built to last. Easy to put together, there is a step to step video on youtube to show you.

It is one from the top10 on the market but not the best. Easy to fit and set. You need to buy a directional desk lamp. Not very good for writing purposes though. You also need a arm-elbow support to fit under if you use the lap top. If you use it for gaming might want to fit a screen arm behind. Overall does the job, very satisfied with the product.

A very well made bedside table. It is very heavy, and not the sort of think you would want to carry up and down stairs, but it will stand the test of time for sure.The table came very well packaged but if I was to be picky, there were 2 stains on the imitation mahogany table surface that would not clean off which was a shame, it looked like oil or something similar was stilled on it at the packaging stage. I did not complain to Amazon as the table was needed urgently and expect it may have been replaced if I had asked so I still gave 5 stars.

Could do with being able to lower it more, but otherwise good and well made with good quality materials

Absolutely my best personal buy of 2017, really reccommmend this table, real good quality,easy to put together (as in get someone else to do it for you hehe)I love it. If you get one, you won't be disappointed
