BEEFIT Snacks Biltong (Original, 500g)

I have tried a number of different brands of Biltong. This one is definitely one of the best. Highly recommended .

Teriyaki: Will for sure be back to try the other flavors, this one tasted more of a Worcestershire sauce jerky, a little like the home made stuff.Edit:BBQ: came back for round 2, the bbq has a mild spice to it and smells like a delicious steak house. The taste feels like I'm eating at a family bbq. It's awesome, it's got a little of a raw finish taste a little like prosciutto. Good stuff, I think I've found my favourite.PeriPeri: That day I learnt that fire is indeed a flavour, was alright and kinda like teriyaki in that it was strong in Worcester sauce topped with the flames of hell itself.Garlic: Garlic taste wasn't as prominent as I thought it would be but luckily I had some garlic powder handy. However the beef was tender as ever, with great flavor to boot. My taste buds grow powerful everyday with each flavor I consume.BONUS MEME:Try their america jerky, you will not regret it. Reminded me of the "wild west" jerky brand. Pretty good if they still sell it.

Really like the peri peri flavour. Nice and spicy, just how I like it! These larger packets generally have nice big chunks of meat, more so than in the smaller 35g packets. The quality can vary a little from pack to pack. Sometimes it's a bit fattier than I would like, but that's mostly down to personal preference. This most recent pack was perfect though. Great consistency and tastes great.The only downside with these larger packs is that they don't last that long once opened. I think it says to use within 2 or 3 days on the packet. However, if you put it in the fridge in a paper bag, or a non-sealed container lined with kitchen roll or something, then that should keep it dry and fresh for a good week or two which is long enough for me to finish off the pack.I use a Tupperware container without the lid and put a piece of kitchen roll at the bottom as well as ontop. Every couple of days I give the whole tub a little shake and stir to make sure the air is getting circulated nicely.

So sadly this particular type of beef jerky was purchased for myself as I tend to have a habit of snacking pretty bad foods.... So I thought to purchase a large amount of jerky that has minimal ingredients to help my problem as I would much rather snack on the jerky than something random; processed, high in flavorings/ additives etc...So this arrived and I began to clear the house of all bad snacks....What I didn't expect to happen is to LOVE the jerky this much! On my first day trying this jerky, I ended up eating a third of the entire bag to myself! I'm not sure if it has helped me by cutting down the amount of snacking I do. However the quality and flavour of the beef jerky is AMAZING, unlike any other jerky I have tasted. HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!! You have been warned :)Also economically it's amazing. Jerky tends to be incredibly expensive ranging from £2-£5 for a tiny 50g bag of jerky. This jerky is far cheaper, FAR better in taste and FAR healthier as it has no sugar!Buy it now, what are you waiting for!

I usually buy Biltong and Jerky from Morrison's but it's stupidly expensive for the amount you get.I decided to give this a try and was not disappointed.I don't like Spicy food but this although after eating a large amount of it will give a bit of heat in your mouth, it still didn't stop me from eating nearly the full bag within 2 hours of receiving it.I would happy recommend this, as unlike most that I have tried before from other places this stuff didn't cause my indigestion to flare up as I have a issue, with indigestion and have to take medication daily for, this stuff is amazing I can get my Biltong Addiction Fix without being in pain!I am looking at making my own but until then I think I will be ordering a couple of bag's on Payday each month!!

This is normally an excellent product, I’ve purchased a number of times before. The recent delivery on the 30/05/2023 was not good. As soon as opened the packet the smell was different and the first few pieces tasted awful.I must reiterate this is normally a five star product, but there must have been a bad batch. With no return or refund policy I won’t be ordering again. Real shame, previously loved this product as a superb and tasty source of protein

I've ordered biltong from many places, including some local places that do it fresh, it's always tasty and has a bit of moisture from it, but this was the driest biltong I've ever had, so if you enjoy your biltong dry, then this is for you, the taste is great.

It's difficult to describe biltong unless you've grown up in Southern Africa where its manufacture is widespread and virtually every farmer will make it with either beef or venison of some description (kudu usually). I've tried various versions of biltong from other brands, and then found this. Opening the packet and getting that distinct whiff of roasted coriander seed, the dry meat that has the tang of proper biltong spice, yes, this takes you back to Africa. It's not quite the "hunk of beef that you gnaw on until you're done" kind, but thin slices that you can chew on make this perfect for an afternoon snack when the munchies start.

Great taste, and good value. Could perhaps be a bit dryer in my own taste but all in all great.

The taste is very good but some pieces are really tough to chew, I assume that the meat is not of the highest quality (but still rather decent).

Tender and nice flavour

Price is superb AND it tastes better than all other brands I've so far tried.Will order again and try the other flavours.
