SAFETY TATTOOS FOR CHILDREN - Ideal for day trips and holidays

It was only upon reading a 'everything you need for a Disney holiday' blog that I stumbled on these. We have a 5 and 8 year old. Imagine the horror of losing one of them in a packed Disney theme park. Once I had thought that through these became an essential purchase. No use relying on a piece of card or paper, nor can you have anything around their necks for obvious reasons. Nor can you put numbers inside of clothes as staff are not allowed to look. So a clearly visible tattoo that does not come off easily and does not rely on the child to remember anything...perfect. It wont happen, but if it does, we will have the piece of mind that they are 'tagged' with our phone number. (also remember to take a photo of them at the start of each day and show them who the staff members are so they know who to go to). These are particularly useful for non-American visitors to Disney parks in the States as the website for the 'magic bands' that the kids wear do not accept anything other than 10 digit phone numbers (in other words US phone numbers). The band can be used to get the number and even locate the parent but these tattoos are a fail safe if the tech fails.

Used for a festival on my toddler and our friends’ toddlers. One of them peeled off after 2 days but the other 2 lasted 3 days. It comes with a pen to write on, can easily fit a phone number. If you want more than that maybe consider using 2 tattoos e.g. if you want to include allergies.The design on the tattoos was fun, toddlers seemed to like them! Particularly the bus.They’re similar to blister plasters in material/texture.

I tried these on two children having tried a similar product before. I found them harder to write on than the previous product, but the pen did work and was clear. The biggest problem was that the tattoo fell off very quickly, and had to be held on by the child. Eventually of course it just came off. The second one I tried did stay on, but I think because they were wearing a long sleeve that was tight enough to hold the tattoo against the skin. I wouldn't buy these again.

I buy these for every trip and they are long lasting/hard wearing. I’ve been using them for a year now, my children are 4&5. On a trip to Disney we witnessed the staff trying to quiz a lost child, too young to give them any info, we waited with staff for half an hour with our heart in our throats, if only they had the hindsight to look for products like these online.

First set arrived and the pen was dry but they sent a replacement pack immediately so all resolved swiftly. Used on holiday with both children. Long lasting and waterproof and gave peace of mind.

Disappointed! The pen in packet designed to write on the label was completely dead and ink-free! We were already out and had no other pen to hand. Turns out a biro will write on if and when you can find one!These labels do not stand up to getting wet. Useless in a swimming pool.

I needed something for my son who wanders off sometimes and this was just perfect. 4 days at a music festival, through washes and pouring rain, my number was still visible. Very easy to remove when you're done, bit like a sticking plaster.

Brilliant.The tat stayed on for almost 2 weeks! Gave me great piece of mind on our holiday to know that I could be contacted if my daughter got lost.
