Without a shadow of a doubt, THE best galaxy phone ever and most probably, THE best smartphone to date. Far faster than the recently released iPhone X in speed checks, loading of apps, multitasking etc. This phone really excels in the multitasking department. Load several apps in succession and use 2 at same time with multi window. The camera is just outstanding and with the 2x optical zoom, this makes such a difference. With the super amoled screen and 6.3" 18:5 layout, this really shows off photos and apps to their best. Super fast charging means less time plugged in too. Phone is a bit on the large size compared to the far more ergonomically designed Galaxy S8 but then you enjoy the screen size when watching movies and forget about it very quickly. S Pen is such a great attribute, allowing freelance cutting of items on screen. Screen off memo and a whole host of S Pen functions really make this phone truly superb and more than worth the hefty price tag. Definitely get a Samsung Dex Station to complement your purchase. This turns your galaxy S8, S8+ or Note 8 into basically, a desktop computer while charging the phone at the same time, also allows for phone calls, messages and all the usual smartphone functions. I purchased a wireless foldable keyboard with built in track pad. Treat yourself to the latest smartphone and enjoy the benefits that owning a Note 8 will bring. Just remember to purchase a decent protective case to keep your valuable purchase safe.

The note 8 is an amazing phone! I got this phone from SmartTech Store and it came within 5 days, 1 day earlier than the date provided. The note 8 is a beautiful device with glossy glass on the front and back. The phone feels comfortable in the hand and if you're used to big phones such as the sd edge plus, the fingerprint scanner placement won't be a problem! The dual camera is amazing and that live focus is easy to use. Bixby vision is useful if you want to find something similar to what you're looking at but not so much for finding it to buy. The iris scanner is quick and accurate, the fingerprint scanner is very snappy and unlocks without having to press the power button first. Battery life is average but that is expected because of the massive screen! the s-pen is quite useful for translating things on web pages and is good for making off-screen notes such as shopping lists. The screen is amazing, it is so bright and big and the bezels are quite small. Software is easy to navigate and use, it has tutorials for features that you haven't used yet which is useful if you don't know about the new updated software features and gestures. Speaking of gestures, the fingerprint scanner can also be used to pull down and push up the notification bar so that's a nice little trick. The front camera is amazing and captures many details in pictures. Overall this phone is very great and if you want a seller that is trustworthy and sells the real deal, go for SmartTech Store, they have great reviews and the did deliver a genuine European galaxy note 8

I've upgraded from an s5 and the technology hasn't moved on a great deal, but this has a few extras that I like and therefore help warrant the cost... At first I found the screen a little large for one-handed use but if you put the most-used items nearer the bottom of the screen that helps. I even use the scroll anywhere function on the homepage to bring down the notifications panel at the top more efficiently. Weight is noticeably more, but you adjust to that without realising. Battery wasn't much different to s5 but there's a lot of management settings which help. The biggest difference by far has been turning off cards, within Bixby settings!! Basically mobiles have lots of clever (marketable) features which you can never actually use if you don't want to be constantly charging the battery. S Pen, screen size and dual lens camera are the best reason to purchase in my opinion. Not many other phones offer this range of features. Being able to annotate and save parts of the screen with the pen make it really useful for sharing ideas with people. All in all it has enough features to add longevity, and if I don't drop it, all I'll have to pay for is getting a new battery installed eventually.

If your interested in this phone you properly already know how good this phone is, your properly reading the reviews to see if the seller is trust worthy as I got this phone for £570 instead of £900 (april 2018). Based on when I switched it on it was preset to Italian rather than English uk. brand new phone had all the bits in the box, cellophane screen cover and box was sealed. Pros : security, easy to open via finger print, pin or face : s pen great for taking quick notes, creating gifs : amazing screen : sound can be customised to great effect while listing to music or video. : Google assistant works great on the phone : transfers notes via note 4 to 8 easy with Samsung account. : expandable storage Cons : battery life ( most smart phones are poor) : cost ( flag ship phone always going to be expensive)

Ich hab das Note 8 (Vorher Samsung Galaxy S7) jetzt seit einer guten Woche und bin recht begeistert. Obwohl ich es vor der Bestellung ein paarmal in der Hand gehabt hab, war ich dann von der Größe doch ein bisschen überwältigt. Man gewöhnt sich aber schnell daran. Es passt mit Hülle in die vordere Hosentasche. Beim einhändig Tippen bekommt es durch seine Länge leicht Übergewicht nach oben, aber auch das hab ich gelernt zu kompensieren. Dadurch, dass es verhältnismäßig schmal ist, kann man es leicht in einer Hand halten. Es _ist_ gut verarbeitet. Jeder, der etwas anderes behauptet, hat es nicht genau angeschaut. Da gibts keine ungleichmäßigen Spalten oder ähnliches. Die Performance ist sehr gut. Da ruckelt nichts. Beinahe jede App startet sofort nach Antippen. An der Kamera gibts auch nichts zu bemängeln. Schade, dass die Dual-Kameraapp und die 360 Grad-Panoramaapp dafür nicht mehr angeboten wird. Man kann sich aber die entsprechenden APKs besorgen und dann funktioniert wieder alles wie früher. Einzig die gebogenen Displaykanten stören mich ein bisschen. Hab noch nie verstanden wofür das gut sein soll und Samsung nützt es auch nicht sinnvoll. Die Ränder können einmal kurz aufblinken, wenn eine Nachricht kommt und das war es auch schon. Allerdings stören die Reflexionen, die durch die Kanten entstehen manchmal. Ich könnte darauf verzichten. Sonst ist das Display sehr gut. Gute Farbdarstellung und immer ausreichend Helligkeit. Der Akku ist zwar auf dem Papier relativ klein, aber ich habe ihn gestern vor 23 Uhr aufgeladen, in der Nacht das Handy im Flugmodus gehabt, um 6 Uhr eingeschaltet, ein paar Fotos gemacht, ein paar Nachrichten verschickt und gelesen und habe jetzt um 13:40 Uhr noch knapp 65%. Und ich verwende den Hochleistungsmodus mit maximaler Bildschirmauflösung. Man muss es wohl jeden Tag aufladen, aber dass mir unterwegs der Saft ausgeht, wird kaum vorkommen. Mit dem Stift bekommt das Handy dann noch ein paar Funktionen dazu, die mit vorher gefehlt haben. Z. B. einen Screenshot vor Erstellung zu beschneiden, bzw. zu beschriften und direkt zu verschicken ohne zwischenzuspeichern, wird von mir rege genützt. Auch in Excel-Tabellen kommt man mit dem Stift wesentlich leichter zurecht. Wenn also jemand ein sehr leistungsstarkes und sehr gut aussehendes, großes Smartphone sucht, der Preis keine Rolle spielt _und_ er/sie die Funktionen, die der Stift bringt, nützen will, dann soll er/sie zugreifen. Ich bin jedenfalls überzeugt, das richtige Handy gekauft zu haben.

Nach einigen Monaten Anlauf kam es dann doch zum Kauf. Zuerst, bei Markteinführung, war ich nicht gleich verliebt in das Gerät. Zu vieles neu und anders als bei meinem bewährten Note 4. Aber dann gab es dann das Duos zu einem guten Preis als Warehouse-Deal. Und seitem es dann da war - und nach den üblichen diversen Arbeitsschritten die ein Gerätewechsel so mit sich bringt,,, Alles bestens. Ich habe noch immer nicht alle neuen FUnktionen ausprobiert. Mir fehlt einfach die Zeit.
