Overall, I am happy with the hat. The zipper compartment is cute, but does not have a use for me. The one star loss was for the hatband. It looks easy to adjust and it is. The problem is that it is too easy to adjust. The clasp loosens over the day. But even w/o rain on a sunny day, it was not too hot as you might expect a non-cotton cap to be. And yes, crammed in the backpack or suitcase it came out looking like the pictures, no wrinkles or creases.

Bought two of these for my trip to Ireland and they were priceless!! Great fit and quality. So much better than expected. They have a really nice shape to them. Not too big or high like some hats can be and really repels the water!!

This does the trick! I wear it in the rain and sun. Waterproof just like it says. Very comfortable.

Very cute hat and the waterproofing works great! I wore it all day in a light drizzle and it stayed dry and then I wore it for several hours in an absolute downpour and it stayed mostly dry but did start to get slightly damp around the seams but still not dripping into my face like a normal baseball cap would. Love it!
