According to a camx chat that I have had with them.... they do not have a Range Rover L405 specific product. They say you need the generic style which entails sticky pads to the windscreen and running wires around the outside if the windscreen... not as shown in this Amazon advert wiring connection through the courtesy light source. So when it says no sticky mess or unsightly wires and easy install... thats obviously using Advertising jargon for the exact opposite.Please check very carefully for your specific vehicle what is the correct product before pressing the buy now button.... because otherwise what you are expecting may not be we you recieve.

This front & rear camera system works perfectly! The video quality is above my expectations and is pretty straightforward on using. It is so inconspicuous that unless you are looking around from inside, you will not notice it at all. Not only was it fairly inexpensive, but it was easy to install.What would make this purchase a better experience would be if there were instruction videos on how to run the rear camera install on each vehicle they are compatible with. I know this is a huge request, but it would help people understand what it takes to do it from beginning to end.Overall, I would give this system a solid A because it took less than 2 hours to install and it looks very clean too.

After seeing the Youtube video exposing that nearly all webcams are the same exact hardware, I decide that I would not bother shopping for camera features. Instead, I focused on: the installation being safe and easy while looking like part of the car.This webcam really delivers in creativity by providing PC-ABS part replacements for your interior with a camera inside. In the case of the 2024 CRV, the camera replaces the vent cover for the HondaSense camera already in the front window. Once installed, this replacement panel positions the new camera right below the factory camera to look like it was built from the factory with two cameras. The design is genius. There is zero risk of a smash-and-grab to steal your dashcam.The only minor knock on the design is that the replacement panel does not have felt absorption pads to prevent part-on-part squeaks like the stock interior panel does. That means that this dashcam might make some noise in bumpy conditions.Installation of the camera on a 2024 CRV is also genius. The camera comes with a wiring loom that connects to an existing interior connector, meaning there is no need to run wire to the fuse box. The rear camera was mostly easy once I got past the rear door. In my case, I threaded a long zip tie taped to a piece of paracord through the rubber cable conduit to the rear hatch. Finally, I taped the camera cord to the paracord and pulled it through slowly, inching it by hand in the rubber conduit to get it to move. Other than the routing of the cable through the rear door, the rest of the installation was extremely easy. I routed the rear camera cable along the driver side paneling to the center roof console. Overall, installation took me about 2 hours, and that was taking my time.Setup of the camera is where this fairy tale story of the perfect webcam falls apart. First, you cannot setup the camera on a phone which already is wirelessly connected to the car in Apple Car Play. This camera works by broadcasting a wireless SSID that you need to connect your device to in order to use the software. The problem is that Apply Car Play will continue drop the camera's wireless network and switch back to Car Play. This means you cannot use a phone already used in Car Play to access this camera. I got around this issue by enlisting a tablet for dashcam setup and use.Even after getting a tablet to setup the camera, the software is super basic.Positive:The software does not require any kind of Cloud account! This is a huge positive actually.Negatives:You cannot invert or mirror the rear camera in software. With the natural installation routing of the wire, my rear camera is recording upside down. I can flip the image right side up in my video player, but it really is horrid that the rear videos are upside down when viewing from my connected device.Time is only settable by connecting an external device periodically. If you don't regularly connect, the time will drift and potentially be lost.There is no messaging to tell you when the card fails or the camera has issues. I have read that a High Endurance card should last years. Thus, the suggestion is to replace the card once a year to ensure stability.I have debated what rating to give this product considering there are strokes of genius even if the manufacturing did cheap out by selling out-of-date poor software. The reality is that most of us will install the dashcam and forgot it exists. This camera is a set it and forgot type camera. It will record a good picture, the installation looks great, and the interface is basic and does the job. Go into your purchase with tempered expectations and I still think the price/performance ratio makes this a good value for the money.

I own a 2024 CRV and found out about this product on the internet in early March and placed an order on March 15th. Due to direct shipping from mainland China, it was delivered on March 25th.I don't consider myself that handy, but installation wasn't as difficult as other reviewers said.I installed it leisurely, and I think it took less than 30 minutes.After installation, I had a few questions and issues, so I asked the seller, and a guy named John answered very kindly and sincerely, so I was able to resolve all issues. Thanks to John again.The best things about this product is that it looks clean like a factory built dash cam. Also, the dash cam doesn't block your view out the windshield, and you don't have to worry about installing a power cable like other dash cams.If any pros and cons come up while using it, I will update it.

After six months my camera fell apart. The large plastic piece fell off first then an other piece what holds the camera fell too. It was cold outside, around 14 fahrenheit in the night. I understand the plastic can't stand the cold. But please, only six months? I live in New Jersey. What about the North West where the temperature is -4 degrees? I found the small pieces on the dashboard in the morning. Now it's totally useless. I have to tape it on and order a new one. Of course a different brand. Never buy it again.
