SALOMON Men's X Ultra 3 Mid Gore-tex Hiking Boots

Our 3rd pair of these Salomon Boots, I have used them for Walking, Cycling, Munro Bagging and general use. Light weight, waterproof and extremely comfortable, if these last as the other pairs have I will be well pleased.

This is my second pair of Salomon Ultra 3 Mid GTX boots...They have kept me comfortable and dry all around the world, from The Azores to Teotihuacan and everywhere in between...Durable and ready to tackle anything you throw at them...I have tried many different brands in hiking boots, however Salomon does the trick for me!

This is the second pair of these boots, I’ve found them light and comfortable, great in wet walking conditions as well. The last pair lasted about 2yrs.Only down side are the laces, it’s impossible to tie them so they don’t come done. So I’ve bought lace locks very happy with the results.Only wish Salomon would have supplied better laces in the first place.

My normal size were slightly too small reordered next size up which are slightly too big, however with thick socks okay. Very easy to put on. Would have preferred more lace hoops to tighten around ankle. Sole excellent. Material good quality. Very light boots which will be great for some light summer walks. I would not expect winter performance from these.

I had a previous pair that finally ended their days, after 6 years of pretty much daily use and weekend abuse.I did not hesitate buying another pair as great value for money, excellent comfort and above all else they look great.

I had great trouble getting the size I required. Normally a size 8 but these Berghaus come up small and narrow. So I found the size 8.5 and these are still too small and narrow. I eventually found and ordered a size 9 these seem to be in short supply everywhere, otherwise a great boot, just go to get the correct size

Salomon run small so maybe order a couple of pairs and send back the worse fitting pair.Great boots, light, comfy, strong, waterproof...

The poorest quality walking/hiking boot on the market. Not Fit For Purpose.Both the Left and Right Boot have identical splits causing leakage. Please look at the photographs. It can be clearly seen that the boots have hardly been worn and otherwise are in good condition. The warranty expired in October 2019 (2 years after being purchased). The splits would suggest that the boots are not fit for purpose as they are in the same place on each boot and have not been used in anything like extreme conditions; they have no more than 200 miles of gentle hill walking and hiking.The attitude and failure of Salomon to address an obvious design fault is at best ignorant.
