Best soccer socks!
These socks are amazing! They are stretchy enough so that the kids can easily get them on without assistance. The color is also amazing! It's a hot pink! My girl loves it!!

Work great - fray along designs
Love the socks, which work great, but the logo and pattern toward the base of the foot have edges that fray along the design both inside and outside.

Shrank big time!
Bought a size small for my 7 yo. Shrank after the first wash by at least 33%. Used to fold few inches over the shin gaurds. After wash, didn't even cover the shin guard.

Great budget soccer socks
The Adidas Metro V OTC is a great budget/entry level offering by Adidas, I have been involved with soccer in the last 40 years and I have tested equipment from almost all major companies out there, I have to say that Adidas rarely disappoints and here is again the same story, a very good for the price simple set of socks. There are a lot of positives to be discussed about this model and some minor negatives as well, but before that a quick few words about the packing and presentation. The socks come in a simple plastic bag packaging, similar to all other Adidas sock models, no different treatment here despite the entry level, on the socks label Adidas are listing the fabric content, size and model name, no surprises there.Positives:- Very budget friendly - For under $10, you will have a hard time finding anything better than these socks, especially from a top level equipment manufacturer like Adidas.- Comfortable with good fit and finish - Yes the Metro V is not on the same level as the Copa Zone or Team Speed from Adidas again, but they are perfect for training or casual games, and especially for the hotter months, due to the lighter construction of these socks, they provide better breathability than most expensive models from the maker.- Seven different colors available - A lot of options for colors, that way you can find the one to match the rest of your team uniform.- Arch and ankle compression support - Again, regardless of the budget orientation for this model, Adidas still managed to provide some compression support on the key areas.- Double welt on top of the socks - This feature helps keeping the socks in place above your shin guards where they need to stay. At the same time extensive use doesn't create over-compression or any type of discomfort.- Price - Under $10, these are absolute winners with almost zero competition.Negatives:- No added heel or forefoot cushioning - I know that they are not the above-mentioned more expensive models with these features, but still worth mentioning.- No added toe nails reinforcement - If you are familiar with the Copa Zone and the Team Speed, you that that feature is present and important, you you are planning on using a set of socks for at least one season, before you create a hole on the big toe, regardless of your toenails being cut or not, just the natural friction and constant contact of the ball will eventually thin out the material. So hopefully the Metro V can last at least 6-7 training sessions.Overall, great entry level soccer socks that are offering plenty for the money.
