The Ventris really is the best.....10/10 in tone meets quality!
There really is so much to rave about the Ventris so here is just a bit of what makes it so great:1) Tone. Each reverb option is unique from the next...as it should be. Where it separates from the others is how unique each one is from any other. The Eventide and Empress options are great but more money and for extras that I do not need . The depth of tone really defined a unique character to each reverb algorithm where one can distinguish it without looking at the pedal. The "mojo" was greater than the Strymon options ...it had more character and stands in a class all by itself.2) Ease of use. The learning curve is easy and dynamic. Presets? Yes but I don't even use any as the tones are so distinguishable and the interface so user-friendly that much of what I do is easy to commit to memory. In contrast to the Oceans 12, which as a few shortcomings that really keeps it from standing with the market-makers, everything is easy to read and in a short time I developed a system to how all options worked together and what I would be getting.3) Quality. The Ventris defines the standard in a sturdy casing. There is zero noise and all of these reverbs are usable as textures in developing melodic soundscapes and soloing for effect and melody.Note: I tried them all and really thought I was going to buy the Boss RV-500, That is a great reverb unit also but falls way short in difference in expression between certain algorithms and the digital interface is way more cumbersome than the "quick set and no commit to memory" Ventris.I will admit that I also love the Neunaber Immerse MKII for both tone and quality( lack of options is a detractor) and their Illumine machine came out the week before I bought the Ventris.

A great reverb unit with many options
A great reverb unit with many options. I run it via a boss es-8 with midi so I had to program a bunch of presets into the midi via my macbook. This proved a tad complicated as the program went bad a few times but ultimately I was able to program a bunch of great presets into it and dial them up via the boss es-8. The reverbs are excellent and I actually prefer them to my actual spring reverb on my amp.. It has every possible reverb type on there and the ability to run two at the same time. Can go from basic spring to avant-garde hipster bizzarness.

Like it better then the Strymon
I’m not going to go into a lot of detail about the unit because I’m lazy. The short is it’s a very nice pedal that does a ton of different things and has a mind boggling amount of control if you so wish. I used to have a strymon Bigsky but I found that the sound of strymon started to become very apparent to me, it’s a great sound but I wanted something with more character. The Ventris fits that bill to a T, it’s different but just as epic. I was especially blown away by the Offspring mode. Anyways would recommend this pedal and it’s build quality to anyone.

Unbelievable!!!!
In my 50 years of buying every make and kind of spacial effects, I can only say- this is the most fantastic pedal I have ever owned. I would be playing thru it right now, instead of writing this review (and the only one I ever have), except my fingers are too sore to touch the strings (after 4 hours of playing). I play thru Strats into Marshalls/Orange/Fender together. I just received a second one to try thru my Taylor 12 setup. I expect to hear sounds that have not been heard on this earth before. Can't wait!!

Pristine
This is the best pedal I’ve played through and now the best I’ve ever owned. I have it in the effects loop of my Orange or15 and it’s just amazing. Being able to stack the reverb settings makes for some magical chords and leads. The Offspring mode alone is almost worth the price. Stack that with shimmer or e-dome and every note is immense. I haven’t really broken into the Neuro app but it has loads of potential.

Nice Pedal for the Price
I was looking for a good shimmer effect and have been thoroughly impressed with this one. I have never used a Strymon pedal before either, but it seems to work just as good as one of those, from the videos I've reviewed and listened to on YouTube.

Extraordinary Reverb Pedal
What a great pedal! The range of sounds is extraordinary. Between this and the Nemesis, you can anything from gentle reverb to add depth to your playing to wild sounds that are otherworldly and everything in between. I would highly recommend this pedal.

It doesn't get any better
This destroys the big sky in terms of sound quality. The spring reverb stands up to a real reverb tank.

Lush and versatile
I've had this for about a month, now. I had scoured the internet for reviews and soundbites before jumping in with both feet. I had actually strongly considered getting a Neunaber Immerse MKII, which was cheaper. And although the Immerse is an amazing pedal, I'm glad I shelled out the extra money for the Ventris. The Ventris has so many functions that it will last many more years on my board, for sure. You can hear the detail in each reverb engine - it is such a lush, sophisticated sound. Getting the sounds I want are mostly done right on the pedal itself - just turning knobs. But I occasionally use the app to download some presets that others have made. I also really enjoyed the ability to swap off one of the stock reverb engines that I don't use often, to replace it with the Outboard Spring engine - a bonus reverb that sounds exactly like a Fender 6G15.Some other things I love about this pedal are the mix knob - going from dry to 100% wet, the time knob which can give ridiculously long trails, and the pre-delay knob which is often in the form of a switch in other pedals.I run this pedal in the Aux loop of a mixer, and there is plenty of headroom in this line-level setup. I'm very pleased with this.
