Pure Definition Car Clay Bar Detailing Kit, 100g Fine Grade Block and Detail Lube Spray - Amazing Paintwork Finish

Having seen a few videos on YouTube showing how good clay bars were meant to be I thought I'd give one a go as I had some pretty stubborn marks on my cars bodywork that I couldn't shift. I spent a couple of hours doing the whole car and couldn't believe the end result. All the marks, spots and blemishes had gone and the bodywork was silky smooth. A few layers of polish and wax later the car was shining like it had just come out of the showroom. Definite good buy.

I have used a variety of other clay bars before and know how to use them safely and how they should preform. The clay bars I usually use are expensive so I thought I would give a cheaper one a try. I used the lubricant I have used with all other clays with no problems. However after using this clay the paint was left with bad smear like scratches all over. I washed the car thinking it was residue. But no. They stayed. Were it not for the fact I was going to compound the paint anyways I would have been furious. Do you self and spend a little extra on a premium product like Maguire's clay bar. I can't fault them. Apart from being a bit more money

The product looks like it should be good but unfortunately it isn't.--The detail spray--It smells strongly what I think was meant to be bubble gum. The trigger isn't appropriate, it can be uncomfortable and sharp. The spray pattern is adjustable via a screwable tip as per most but it's really not a good trigger.I can guarantee your hands will be stained pink after using this product. I've used swarfega, toothpaste, hand soap and still have a bright pink tint to them. In terms of a clay lubricant, the product seems to be very runny and needs to be constantly applied while using as a lubricant.After claying my car I had to wash it gain to remove the pink dye. While this was not visible, the water was pink after.--The Clay--The medium clay produced marring on the paint which had to be polished out. I don't have a DA at this time but thankfully was able to do this by hand. The clay seemed quite course for a fine grade clay.I was successfully able to remove surface contaminants using it.Overall, if you'r on a budget and are able to compound and polish after you will be ok.I'm an amature detailer who has used limited a number of products so I can only give my opinion here with minimum comparison in mind.

This kit is great, the clay bars are really easy to use providing you lubricate it with the spray.First time I used a clay bar on my car and the pollutants it got off was incredible. After I washed the spray off, the car was already shining.The detailing spray smells lovely, you can use it for touching up a recently cleaned car too.Just make sure to give it a good wipe!

Fantastic product I had a long rubber mark on my 64 reg audi done by a shopping trolley. I used this clay bar and managed to remove this horrible mark from my car before i sold it. It worked a treat had to go over it a few timea but his clay is brilliant.

The lube leaves a poor residue and hard to buff .. but works a treat other than that if your doinv full detail including polish and wax you will be very happy !! The bar did my car which is a golf

What a lifesaver...I own a BMW Z4 in bespoke pearl white which was covered in small 'rust spots' which I later learned was debris from other vehicles brake pads. Thought I was going to have to get whole car resprayed. Bought this product, amazing result! Car is in showroom condition now. Very labour intensive but we'll worth it.

The clay is OK. Not the best but not awful.The spray though! It's now in the bin.Its bubblegum smelling. It stains everything. No doubt small kids would be wanting to taste it.The colour comes out of your hands and finger nails after about three or four days.You will have to rewash the car or I panel wiped to get rid of the pink residue.
