very nice
Well after the help I got from other buyers about getting the figure to hold the bolter - I am more than happy with this figure and he currently has pride of place on my shelf. Can't knock it at all for the price and build quality. I will dig out my paints and customise it a little (Would like to add a little red to loincloth and a little more detail to bolter) but if its a quality statue you want - thats what you get :) I'm going to get a couple more of the McFarlane warhammer range and fill my shelf a little more

A Chaos Marine of the Black Legion to call your own
Solidly built and nicely detailed. I really could do with a few more though, as at the moment he is rather outnumbered by my Loyalists. A Thousand Sons Rubicae or Iron Warrior would certainly not go amiss.

This is not the same as the other 40K marine figures.
All the other marine figures are taken from the same mould and altered to make them individual. This figure is completely different. The body proportion is all different, especially the legs. It is shorter and does not have the same 'feel' as the others. Its hard to sum up but it does not quite fit in, i also have the Genestealer model and that looks great along side the other marines.

Well detailed and nice articulation
It's pretty well detailed and does have a few nice features. It is not as tall as the other Space Marine figures. For anyone wondering why it's shorter than the other Space Marine figures. This is actually fairly accurate. If you're familiar with 40k Lore you will recognise the other Space Marine figures in the range as "Primaris" which are meant to be taller than ordinary Space Marines and the same can also be said about this Chaos Space Marine.
