Venom Vibration Gaming Headset XT + (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac)

Let me start by saying I bought the wireless version for £9 from Amazon Warehouse (bargain)Bought for use with a PC and being honest, it wasn't without its problems when I first purchased.First Set:I received a faulty received with my first headset, it showed in device managed as ''Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)'After doing a little searching with no luck I decided to just throw it back at amazon for a refund and order another while I crossed my fingers.Second Set:Advertised as factory sealed, this was utter rubbish from Amazon Warehouse, but didn't really care for £9.Plugged receiver in, Windows picked it up, success! *fist pump*Paired up instantly with the headset, sounds awesome!But wait, audio cuts out every 5-10 seconds and stutters any videos playing! Very odd :'(I'd read about this issue with a few other reviews on here so decided to contact Venoms Twitter, they didn't know what was wrong, but to be fair I was talking to a social media person, not their dedicated customer support. The nice guy at Venom gave a few suggestions, like charge the headset, swap USB ports.(The Fix)So, moved the receiver to my keyboards USB port.. Instantly better! doesn't cut out!Apparently having the receiver plugged directly into my PC was causing some interference with my GPU, not unknown for wireless devices, this is usually why the majority of wireless devices are bluetooth now.Pros:- Excellent audio quality- Bass is excellent- Wireless reach covers whole house- Very comfy to wear for long gaming sessions- Mic works well enough, but bear in mind you can buy a different and fit it to the headset.Cons:- Receiver can be a bit of a pain to set up- Can't really feel any vibrating unless fully turned up, but audio is crystal clear so not an issue :DBUY THIS HEADSET!

Really great, the headphones are extremely high quality you can hear more than without them! However the microphone isn't sensitive enough and you don't really feel the vibrations in the headset.

Brilliant headset for the price. Works on PC & PS4 confirmed. Bit too much bass but sound quality is brilliant (especially on BF4). They fit nice and look slick. Perfect headset for PS4...

Nice looking pair of headphones, they have a good weight to them, comfortable. But really not happy with the crackling noise and the sound cutting out for pieces every now and then. Im less than 2m from the ps4, but it still breaks up. Not happy. A good headset should be able to handle sound at a minimum.Edit: Sound controls don't seem to work. Meant to be able to control both the Chat and the Game volume.One of them doesn't work, but the game chat version controls both.

Once I received this headset which was extremely fast only 24hrs to Finland!With PC it has this "zzzzzzzzzzz" annoying backround noise. Microphone is good and no problems with that.Tested with 2 computers so it's the soundcard of that headset which is causing the problem.Works fine with aux.The vibration isn't what I expected, it's kind of powerless. Comparing it to the Rosewill RHTS-8206 which has an amazing bass/vibration.Pros:+ For consoles a good choice+ Fits nicely to head+ Good microphoneCons:- On PC use (in my case) it has static noise- Too many wires(but compatibility ++)- You fell the vibration if your volume is set to 100%Overall, only for console use at least on my opinion.

While not claiming to be anything like an expert in "gaming" headsets I think for the price this is an excellent buy.My previous experience with game system headsets is the Official Sony Bluetooth headset for the PS3 which while okay for what I wanted wasn't great or comfortable.I decided to upgrade for 2 reasons, a) I am getting more into my online gaming and b) I have just upgraded to a PS4 so wanted to upgrade my headset too.It claims to work with a variety of systems and while I can't vouch for all of them I can confirm it works with both the PS3 and the PS4 and works very well. The sound is a vast improvement over just the TV sound, for example GTA 5, if you are walking in a house not only can I hear the footfalls clearly but I can now hear the slight echo from walking on hard floors, or the quiet side comments by NPC's go from indistinct mumbles on just the TV to quiet but definitely understandable conversations.I'm told that my voice comes through clear as a bell when talking to other players online so no fears on that front, although the mic does take a little getting used to as instead of coming out the front of the ear can it comes out the bottom and while it looks odd it does work very well.These are described as a "Vibration Headset", I think this is a bit of a mis-noma. When reading this before I bought it I thought along the lines of the vibration you get through the controller. The way I am finding it is more like when you listen to music or a film with the Bass cranked to overdrive. The base rumbles and you can "feel" a mild vibration from certain sounds, this is how I personally would describe the Vibration aspect, that being said I find it works well, and to be honest i am not sure I would actually want my headset shaking the way the controller does.The headset is very comfortable to wear, the ear cushions are soft but firm enough to not have the cans actually pushing on your ears. It is a nice weight without being to heavy and the padding on the overhead piece is comfortable as well.All good, no complaints, so why the four stars instead of five? Because I have found a slight problem in the instructions and in the end it was only my own ingenuity that cracked it. On the PS3 the game sound input is easy, the USB socket is for chat in and out and you use line out leads for the game, fine no problem, except the PS4 uses pure HDMI, not line input. Everywhere I looked it said in the settings set it to "Chat Only" and that would work, erm NO, it didn't, you just got the chat no game sound, eventually online I found that you needed to plug the 3.5mm jack into the TV, which meant having to lead swap whenever you wanted to watch the TV normally unless you were alone and wanted to use the headset to listen. In the end I tried setting the System settings to "All Sound" and it works perfectly both game and chat audibly perfectly, without having to lead swap.For the record the other advantage of this method is some people have stated they have a "humming" sound the whole time, I had this but by turning the "Game Volume" on the inline controls down I still have the game sound, and the gaming chat WITHOUT the hum, maybe that's just mine but I'm not complaining, it works!All in all for the money I paid this is a fantastic way into the gaming headset world, and were it not for the instructions issue would have been a shoe in 5 Star item for me. If you're looking for a great bargain headset you could do much worse than consider this one.Update - 04/02/2015I've now been using this for some time and couldn't be happier.It's very comfortable to wear over prolonged periods, I've worn it for an 8 hour period with zero discomfort.The mic is brilliant. I have someone I regularly play online with, also when I play I have background music on quietly, my friend can not only hear the music despite the volume being low, he can often tell me what is playing, but at the same time it doesn't interfere with the gaming.All in all an excellent purchase I am very happy with.

seit 10 jahren gehe ich nun alle paar jahre immer wieder in den mediamarkt und kaufe dort das hama vibraheadset HS-400 für 20€.der sound ist ok aber die vibration ist unübertroffen. leider ist das headset nach spätestens 2 jahren (vermutlich aufgrund der hohen vibrationsbelastung) hinüber. habe in den jahren auch immer wieder versucht ersatz zu finden.leider sitzen die meisten anderen headsets entweder zu schlecht oder die angepriesene "vibration" ist doch nur lauwarmer bass.dieses headset ist ein kompromiss zwischen extremer vibration und gutem sitz, den ich bereit bin einzugehen.den ersten funktionstest hat das gerät bestanden, mal schauen wie lange es hält.P.S. der evening-express ist der reinste wahnsinn, sofort wieder !

Son unos auriculares de excelente calidad. Funcionan perfectamente con la Play Station 3. La conexión es muy sencilla y rápida. Ofrece un sonido fiable y potente, con matices que no se pueden llegar a escuchar normalmente. Son de un material resistente, muy comfortables y ligeros. El micro también ofrece buena calidad. Los controles de sonido de juego y chat son sencillos. Largo alcance de la transmisión de sonido. Al escuchar música de un CD usando la Play sigue ofreciendo una gran calidad de sonido, con bajos potentes y claros. En resumen, una opción excelente y a buen precio para usar con la Play e.

Mein Bereits zweites Jeadset in dieser Preisklasse, zeigt auch starkes fiepen und Störgeräusche, die man vorallem bei leisem Ton hört, laut Meinen Kollegen hatte die Tonübertragung Minimale Aussetzer was ich auch bei Sound auf dem Kopfhörer wahrnahm, Vibration funktionierte nicht und wenn dann nur so schwach das nicht wahrnehmbar

Le doy tres estrellas porque el sonido no es malo, pero se los recomiendo a gente que tenga la cabeza muy pequeña. Yo considero que tengo una cabeza pequeña, y estos auriculares me hacen un daño tremendo. Me hacen daño en el cartílago de la oreja, ya que no rodea la oreja entera (tampoco tengo las orejas grandes) y además me presiona las sienes de tal forma que me he tenido que tomar un ibuprofeno.Espero que esta información sea útil, un saludo.

Ce casque qui fait ps3 et également ps4, xbox 360, pc : je suis tout simplement très satisfait de ce micro casque , juste une petite critique le mode d'emploi est en anglais mais je m'y attendais d'avance. En tout cas je vous le recommande à vous les joueurs !
