I hope eventually can buy the canon grip, but this work very well, i find it very interesting the remote control, good product, good value

My wife didn't feel like paying $$$$ for the official canon (which is also out of stock all the time). This has been great, she had one for her 90d as well, this is a definite upgrade to how the batteries slot in and overall build quality.

I have had this NEEWER Vertical Battery Grip for a couple years now on my Canon R6. I am a videographer I used this grip for the extra battery life and for the vertical shooting for social media.I also own the battery grip from Canon for my R5 mark 2 and the quality from NEEWER is as close as you're going to get for the real thing. This thing has been durable and has worn it great. The Battery life has been awesome with a whole extra battery fitting into the grip, the comfort is just as good as the built in camera grip on the R6.If you want the best bang for your buck value on just the grip this is the way to go.Another thing this thing also comes with a remote trigger for photography.I have used this feature multiple times for my own family pictures and it works great, it requires almost no set up and connects right to it the camera when the grip is attached. Only down side to the remote trigger is that it doesn't seem to connect to any other cameras other than the one that has the grip attached. With that being said, Ive used my grip while shooting in heavy dirt and dust while filming construction content and the thing has held up through heat, sleet and snow. It's been great. Its finally to the point where the button on the grip is getting a little sticky but that is after years of use and heavy use in all weather conditions and I'm very happy with the product to say the least.

I bought this for my Canon R6 Mark 2 as a less expensive option to the overpriced OEM version. It worked great for about a year and then it started having communication issues and became unreliable. I need to buy a different battery grip -- maybe I just have to suck it up and buy the OEM one.

Remote function is pretty cool, cost was not much more than just the battery grip so got this one. Battery grip feels good, fits well, no complaints. Performance is what you expect- it works.

Se que muchas personas han comentado acerca de los materiales plasticosos, pero en general por fuera se siente super bien, el compartimiento de las baterias si se siente muy falseado ( de materiales debiles en plastico) pero sin embargo está excelente debido a que solo debe servir para ese fin (sostener las baterias), por el resto encuentro botones duraderos, me gusta mas la sensación del Joystic comparada con la de la camara que es un poco mas dificil de controlar, y adicionalmente los botones tienen bien señaladas las pautas entre las pulsaciones.Debo decir en general que dependiendo la camara puede no encajar a la perfeccion por lo grande o pequeña ya que canon ha hecho monturas especificas (montura por camara) y Neewer las hace mas genéricas (una para varios modelos), pero la seguridad y la sensación si te dejan ver que llevas un producto de una excelente calidad, por el precio, la verdad me encanta podría volver a comprarme otra montura de estas para la otra camara, además, tener en cuenta que si quieres la original es por dinero, y no funcionalidad como lo ofrece esta montura y con esto me refiero a los botones y el control remoto que me libera de tener que usar el celular o usar los conectores adicionales de la misma, estoy muy feliz con mi producto.Nota: No le doy 5 estrellas por el diseño de la bandeja de las baterias internas, pero eso es lo de menos ya que una vez las insertas no vuelves a tener que ver con ellas hasta sacarlas.

Using on a Canon R6. I have thoroughly enjoyed using this grip. I don’t take many portraits so I don’t really use the extra shutter button. But I love having two batteries on board. And the great just makes the camera feel more substantial. And I like that. It’s very well made and compliments the build quality of the camera. The included remote is ok. Intend to use the Canon app as a remote. But it you’re shooting Astro or just prefer a dedicated shutter remote, I could see this working well. I did use the remote a few times and it worked perfectly.

It worked well for months and then one day the battery door cover was not opening and I had no choice but to remove it and break it open to get my 2 batteries out. I would not recommend this grip for its durability and faulty door.
