Tefal 24 cm Ingenio Essential Saute Pan, Black

Very pleased with these pans. Have bought a few now. Good quality and light.

Just love Ingenio and have managed now to nearly collect all their pans. Just amazing quality and easy to use in the oven, on the cooker, can freeze them and they are dishwasher safe. Stack well and no sticking out handles. The detachable handle is sturdy and very strong. Such a superb design and about time there are multi purpose pans which cuts down on space. Highly recommend. However, please use only wood or silicone so as not to damage the pans. It is no big deal and these are an investment so worth just using sensible cooking tools.

Unfortunately I have returned the pan as it is not suitable for my induction hob!I cannot rate it therefore but it looks like a very good sauté pan.A pity!

The Tefal Ingenio range is great if you are short on space because you can easily stack them up in a drawer or cupboard because the handles are removable and can be stored separately. Have shown a photo of my Tefal pans from this range stacked up - this is how they get stored in my drawer.In terms of the quality of the pans, have never had a problem with Tefal - it's really good quality and has great non-stick properties - also very easy to clean (but we don't put them through the dishwasher).My only negative comment would be that where the handle clips on, the non-stick does eventually get worn off the side of the pan but this only happens on the OUTSIDE, not the inside where it matters. You can see this in the photo - the bottom pan is the oldest and you can see the black has worn off. Like I said, it doesn't affect the inside of the pan so really this is only not great from an atheistic point of view.

We bought a set of Tefal Ingenio saucepans and lids, plus this 24cm saute pan for our campervan. The saute pan does not come with a lid. You can buy a lid from Tefal but it costs as much as the saute pan itself!I was looking around for alternatives and found the Tower Freedom lid set, 1 x 24cm lid and 1 x 28cm lid for less than the Tefal 24cm lid on it's own. As the Tower Freedom range is similar to the Tefal Ingenio range it has the all important cut out in the lid for the removable handle.The Tower Freedom 24cm lid fits very well on the Tefal Ingenio 24cm saute pan. There is a bit of a gap around the handle but I don't know if this is any worse than the Tefal lid would have been.

Great pan needed this at Christmas to boil potatoes in. Also great addition to my tefal ingenio set.

I have an older version of this pan, this new one has become a firm fav as it’s light and non stick. You definitely need the handle, so don’t forget to purchase it separately.

Love these pans. Easy to clean, easy to use and great value for money
