It takes a little tweaking but once you get the hang of it the result is like magic. It doesn't take much to knock down the shoe though. Sometimes if the ceiling fan is too high it will make the shoe start to wobble and it will fall.

Great customer service
I first bought this stand a few weeks ago and when it arrived there were issues with it and the magnet included with the stand shattered into pieces and I was unable to use. I wrote a review stating this and the company reached out to try and resolve the issue. They have sent me a whole new stand that is arriving today. I'll let ya know about the product but so far I am VERY impressed with the customer service!
