Can this tape be used on poly finished wood stairs? My concern is whether, upon removal, the finish will be damaged. Thanks

Dear Bethany,Yes you can easily remove in from laminated wood floors, poly finished wooden floors and other delicately finished floorings. Just make sure that the floor is clean and dust free before the application of the carpet tape. I need a double sided tape that I can use in my high heels to keep them from falling off all the time. The tape would go over nyloms. Would it work?

can this tape be safely used on hardwood floors with polyurethane?

I used it on an old polyurethane factory finish engineered laminated wood floor. After 1 week I removed it, and it left faint lines where removed, best noticed as a shinier line than the rest of the floor where no tape used.. I think it strips off some of the finish as you can feel a lip with your fingernail. It does not leave a residual film. Not saying it is a complaint. Just something to be aware of. It sticks very well.
