Does what it is supposed to do. Absorbs the heat well from the utensils. Printed Mrp price is lower than what i paid for in Amazon. I purchased the same Ikea trivet 3 years back, and that had a more rough surface then. This new one in 2025 has a smoothened surface. Time will tell if this has gotten better. Posted a picture of the old trivet and the new one. You can see that the old trivet has cork grains small and large. The new one has more or less fine cork grains that gives a smooth texture. Also note the black marks in the old trivet, which were transferred from the hot utensils and it was hard to remove though. Still, i recommend this product.
