Very easy to use and very accurate

Unfortunately this gizmo lasted only two weeks before throwing up problems. Apparently something to do with the sensors. I called the manufacturer, who weren't particularly helpful & as a result, it's now all wrapped up & heading back to them.

I bought this item because the advert said it was suitable for use in Scotland. However it is not as Scotland changed its drink drive limit last year, so that makes the advert and packaging out of date. I could not send it back as we had used it.

Received this unit very quickly. Had a slight problem when I first tried to use it - display was totally dead. Had a conversation with the manufacturers and distributors who were very helpful. I was going to return it, but all of a sudden it came to life. Hasn't let me down yet.Seems accurate. I have no way of knowing.

An excellent investment to use at home or away.Even after 12 hour from last drink it is possible to be over the new Scottish lower limit especially with home measures.It gives people like me peace of mind even after 12hrs between bottle and throttle that i,m safe and legal to drive.I trialled it the morning after having a few drinks with friends and only 1 out of 4 of us were fit to drive.1 member registered above the old higher limit and another just below old limit which means both were unfit to drive when felt fine.The auto cleanse option hopefully means more accurate readings as old contamination may affect sensor.So far very happy with my alcosense special edition.

Very good. Live in Scotland with new drink and driving laws. Each person needs to know theirown level. This is the machine to do it. I would have bought the one for Scotlands levels butthey were not available. This one will get serviced and re-caliberated for Scotland in about a years timeMy level is 125m of Red wine and a half hour or more before driving. You haqve to be careful as your level can be progressiveso that why you need the machine for testing over a period of time. Everyones different.
