A Book of Feelings

A great book to help children understand more about feelings

Excellent book. Explains feelings very well but it does go into some detaill so not good if you are looking for a quick bedtime read, if like line, your kids tend to want to read a couple but they descriptions are great.

What a wonderful book - our kids (5yr old boy and 7yr old girl) adore it and we do too, even after having read it by popular demand every night for the last three days! The writing is beautifully crafted, getting the messages across in a subtle, sensitive and charming way and the illustrations are great fun. We couldn't recommend it more highly......

Great story about a range of feelings. The only downside is that you can mainly read it to children who are part of a classic family: mum, dad, sibling, pet - not always the case.

Great book, but if you are looking for a feelings book for pre-school age, perhaps shop around. Although this one covers a lot of feelings and gives examples for each, probably more suited to 5+ due to large range of feelings discusses rather than just foundation level. Having said that, i do read it to my 3.5 year old who enjoys it, although I do edit it slightly in some places. Lots of content though, lengthy and thorough (for want of a better word)

excellent way to introduce the range of feelings that we all have and that it's ok to not always get on.

Brought this book to help my son with his feeling. It's s lovely book which he likes to pick up and read with me

I bought this book for my three year old but it is definitely better suited to an older child. Nicely illustrated and well written but so much focus on negative emotions and feelings without any of the positive which I thought was a bit disappointing. Nice, but I wouldn’t particularly recommend.
