Thick cushion. Once you sit, it remains soft and provides good support. The material doesn't fully compress, so you feel softness on your bum. Great for outside; it cleans itself even in heavy rain and doesn't retain water for hours/days like my previous ones. The Color is exactly as advertised. Measurements are true. Also, they don't slip out of the chairs; the strings are pretty strong. I recommend this product.
