Very cheaply made - all plastic. The shades had dent on them. I was going to return them but my husband installed them already thinking that I was okay with the condition. Had it been in person purchase, I would not even pay $50 dollars for both.

The shades look nice and are easy to install. I used command strips for the mounting panel so it will be easy to remove. Unfortunately, the light bulbs don't work properly. The color options don't match. One is dimmer than the other on each setting. I contacted the seller to get replacement bulbs because one died and now I have 4 bulbs, one is dead and the others don't work consistently and don't match. The remote can be set to control both but it will move them through colors that don't match so you have to take the bulb down and separate it so the control only changes one until you get them to match then bring it back in and put it up to use the remote on both. Magnets on the bulbs that mount it to the metal backplate are very weak so the bulb will only mount at a certain part that is half on, half off the backplate. This would have been too expensive for the quality even if the bulbs worked.

I love the look of these, but the lights themselves don’t hold a charge very long. When they are charged, I love the different tones and brightnesses available. The remote works ok, we have ours flanking our tv and sometimes they don’t turn on together, but easy enough to fix. The labels for the remote are in Chinese; easy to figure out but I would have rather just had symbols. Ours don’t stay on the wall with just the sticky tape provided, so I will be screwing them in, glad that is an option. Took a really long time to arrive. For the price and the ease of installation and the look, they’re a good deal.

They are remote controlled, and if you get them out of sync with each other (happens constantly) one will turn on while the other turns off, or the brightness isn't the same. They actually kind of drive me nuts.

Love the cordless/different modes, and dim options. Wishing the charge lasted longer.
