What a waste of time and effort
The first time I ordered these, I received a box with 5 pairs of youth snowshoes! I sent them back and reordered. What a waste of time and effort. The second time, the order came as expected. The quality of the shoes seems good and sturdy. I like the quality of the poles. I am not thrilled with the lack of decking just forward of the toes. It seems to me they could have extended the front deck further back and not interfered with the front cleats. This would have provided more flotation. Also, why use a vinyl strap for the heel? Why not use a woven strap like for the forward foot straps, which seem very good? Others have complained about the vinyl strap's cracking.Using these in fresh powder in Minnesota resulted in my sinking in 8 inches or so each step. Internet research shows that this is to be expected. I have yet to try them on packed snow.

Good value for the price
I like these snowshoes very much now that they are adjusted to my boots. Adjustment of the rear strap is not easy especially when cold, which is precisely when you use them. I warmed the strap and adjusted it to my boot size, closed the lock tab and all is good if I don't change boots. Putting the snowshoe on is easy. I put my toe in the front binding, slide the preadjusted heel strap onto the boot and tighten the boot with a pull of the two straps which got easier as they were used. When I loosen the toe binding, which is very easy with just a pull on the loop strap, I then lift my heel and slide down the strap off and pull my foot out.The grip in the snow, no matter how hard or soft, is exceptional. They have a little less flotation than my old ones but they are not as big. I did have a little trouble with the poles. One had to be tightened really tight to keep it from collapsing, but that works. Wish they made another color, though.

I tried them out this weekend for two+ hours each day and they were great! Went on very easy and stayed on
I have never snowshoes before, but wanted to give it a try to help groom the local fatbike trails. I tried them out this weekend for two+ hours each day and they were great! Went on very easy and stayed on. I have a bad knee, and their light weight made them very comfortable. The write up on Amazon listed these as being about to handle up to 240lbs... the tag on them said the max was 190. I am about 240 and they worked fine for me, although I liked the fact that I was able to pack down the snow for a trail. You might want to go for a bigger shoe if you are a bigger person.Poles were easy to use and worked great too. I see know quality issues so far. Great value!

They build quality seems solid the they look great. It's worth mentioning
I didn't receive the polls with the initial delivery. My instinct was to return the package but I decided to keep the snowshoes and call Markfleet directly. They admitted the polls should have been included and promptly sent them out. I've used the snowshoes once and they worked as expected. They build quality seems solid the they look great. It's worth mentioning, the polls came with summer hiking pole tips (disk baskets) and as a result I did need to order baskets for snowshoeing.

Not bad for the price
Well I ordered this kit and found that upon arrival it was missing the poles. Also noticed the huge color difference from the pictures. Actually product is more of a turquoise color Then a dark blue. I did test fit them on, they were super easy to throw on. Nothing over complicated. They felt nice and sturdy, I throughly inspected them for any manufactured flaws. But didn’t notice any. Will be returning these as I paid for the snow shoe kit. Other wise I would have kept them, despite the color. Only reason I’m rating a 3 star is because of the poles. Was looking to go snow shoeing this weekend. But looks like I’ll have to get another set. Then deal with returning these.

Very pleased that the orders arrived as indicated
Very pleased that the orders arrived as indicated. Each of the products seem to be what I expected, but won't know entirely until I use the snowshoes. Hiking pants and thermal pants are a good fit and quite comfortable. My greatest concern is that, rather than using a buckle, the straps which go around one's heels require connecting the series of holes with a given "peg." This isn't visible on the photos. It's entirely possible that in the snow and cold conditions, it could be very hard to make them work. It was difficult to do so in the warmth and comfort of home.

Very satisfied customer.
Very pleased. The snowshoes are awesome, heads above the rest at this price point. The poles are well built and plenty strong. I only would change one thing...include a second set of pole baskets with a larger surface area for drier, colder, and deeper snow or swap them out completely. I wouldn't let that stop me from purchasing a set tho.

Fun to use!
Terrific product and a great bargain. These came with a carrying case and poles. Just finished using them this morning on a quick snowy hike here in Alaska. I was able to move quickly through the snow which is no easy feat for me since I am short. Had a blast using them. Bindings are easy to adjust and they are fairly lightweight.
