Bought to find a draw on battery in car. Clamp amp teat made it quick and easy to identify the fault as being a bad alternator. Great price for a quality piece of kit.

This item is OK - the instructions are not great though, so if you've not used one before I suggest looking on You Tube - like I did!

received this item in good time, however very disappointing thereafter.1) The hold/NCV button on the side does not work, so 2 features are unavailable from the get-go (feels like a mechanical/quality issue with the button inside the case)2) The calibration of DC Amps is out by nearly 1A out of the box (minus 0.80-0.90 Amps to be precise), so any reading on the 60A scale for e.g. automotive gives completely inaccurate readings. You can work around this by using the Zero feature, however you must remember to do this every time & it does not save/re-calibrate.Since you must not have the core round a conductor when zeroing, this means you need to remove the clamp to re-zero it each time if you are switching between features in a tight space, which is tedious.I must now waste my time visiting a post office/evri to return it, so I should have just purchased a name brand to begin with.In conclusion, the high number of amazon reviews are misleading at best.

Not user friendly

Done the job. Easy to use. Got results
