NKJV Kindle New Kindle Update Works Perfectly
This Kindle version now works perfectly. They must have updated it to work properly. This Kindle version is now wonderful. It does not have any extra text notes in the middle of the Bible verses like the Notes Version has. That is what I wanted. I did not want the distraction. You click on the Contents icon. It takes you to all the books in the Bible. You then click on the book you want e.g. Romans. When Romans comes up you click on the word Romans which is underlined. This takes you to the chapters within that book. You click on the chapter number and you are straight in that chapter e.g. Romans chapter 8. It works perfectly. In the text of the Bible there are little letters of the alphabet. You click on these. They give you alternate translations of that word. They also give you the Nesle Aland / United Bible Society oldest reading of that text in the New Testament. These Nestle / Aland (NU) readings follow the more modern translations. There are also little sword marks over some words in the text. These give other Bible verses that correlate to this verse so you can see where that same idea is in another part of the Bible. You can see where an Old Testament verse has been fulfilled in the New Testament for instance. Very handy. It also has a concordance at the end of the Bible that you can access from the Contents Kindle icon. E.g. you can look up Aaron. This concordance has several hundred items to look up. It does not have every word of the Bible in it. It will do what you need. This will give you all the verses in the Bible about Aaron and it will give a few words explaining what each verse is about so you can find what you are looking for easily. Very good.I can't find anything wrong with it. Everything worked perfectly every time. I have used it for several days now. I think that older reviews of this book that were negative are now out of date. It has been updated and now works perfectly. It says that it is New in the Amazon title of the book. If you don't like it you can get your money back for a short period of time. That is why I tried it for myself. I was going to refund it if it did not work properly. I found that it does work properly and so I will definitely keep it. It is better than I expected it to be.

Perfect size
I liked everything about the bible, small, portable, can take it anywhere l go. Still believe in a physical bible. Print is small , but readable. Cover looks durable. I would buy it a thousand times

Perfect for bags or large pockets.
It is as described. Good quality paper, robust enough to throw into a bag , suitcase etc. When you can't take your 1kg bible with you it's a good alternative. The Word is the Word just easier to carry but it is small print... so remember your specs!

Really brings The Bible alive - Brilliant!
A brilliant, BRILLIANT production. The audio book really brings The Bible alive. It goes beyond 'head knowledge' and sinks in. I think my quiet 'open book' Lectio Divina meditations will be greatly enhanced by listening to this as a supplement.I can't get enough of this audio production and I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a fantastic service to God.Really fantastic. One of my best investments ever. Thank you

Helpful large print without being enormous
I always wish Amazon would provide information on the size of books and the size of the print. I'm not partially sighted and can't compare this with other large print publications, as other reviewers have done, but having reached middle age and yet not feeling ready for glasses, I find this helpfully large print - significantly larger print than my other Bibles - without being inconveniently enormous. The cover size is about 8.5" by 5.5", and 1 and 3/8" deep. Not having a printer, I can't be sure of the font size.I particularly like the fact that, unlike in the AV, poetic layout is maintained when passages of peotry are translated. This also makes them easier to read.On the minus side, for personal preference, all other things being equal, I would avoid red letter editions, as I don't like reading red. But this doesn't seem so hard on the eyes in the large print.I have been surprised at one or two of the words used, and disagree with the use of "sexual immorality" for what I believe should be "fornication", for example. However, I'm only a very amateur scholar, and others can look them up in concordances if they wish to do so and come to their own conclusions.Generally speaking I'm very pleased with it, not least because I can take it to house group meetings and see it easily enough to read aloud in dim lighting, without it being too big to carry.
