Yes it can. You will need the SAS6 series subplate under this valve for threaded connections. Are you using both this solenoid valve and manual valve to control the same hoist motor? If yes, and they are in parallel, the oil will flow through the valve with the list resistance. More explanation of your circuit or what you are trying to do would help insure what you are doing will work.

Most likely the C spool which is all ports closed in center position. You are likely controlling a hydraulic cylinder that needs to extend retract and stop. You’re likely using the pump from your tractor which already should have a relief valve in it so you don’t have to worry about closing the Pressure port on this valve. You also likely need 12 V DC.

Is the quick coupler with a spring return? Then the single solenoid 2 position valve type will work. Else the the 3 position. Not knowing your hydraulic circuit I would guess the C spool closed center may work. It’s also the most common spool for a single valve operating a cylinder.

Great Item, Great Price

I bought 2 of this solenoid along with base plates. The manufacturing is beautiful and compares well with Eaton/Vickers, etc. No instructions came with the product, but when I went back to the Amazon listing, EVERYTHING was found in the thumbnails on the left. It's nice to see a new company that gets it right.

Good Valve!

I was shipped wrong voltage, ordered an exchange and it went out immediatly, I sent wrong one back a couple days later, valve worked perfect on my bucket truck.
