The Emergency Poet: An Anti-Stress Poetry Anthology

I bought this as a present for a friend, it was so good I bought one for me too. Best book of poems ever. Extremely well chosen and thought out. Helps get your head right again. Ooh ... that’ll be the title for the review! A real mix, easy to meditate on but easy to just, open the book randomly, take a half a minute, enrich your mind and spirit and get back on with your day. I love it!

Handy book to dip into, I keep it on my desk and have a read when I need a break. Some nice poems of good variety in here and not the usual anthology selection. I got the hardback version so it will survive good use. It was a choice between The Emergency Poet and the Poetry Pharmacy and overall I liked the look of The Emergency Poet and I haven't been disappointed.

there were excerpts of some poems and not the complete poem which I found a bit annoying , they should either put it in its entirety or exclude the poem.

Found some really lovely and interesting poems in this book. Will go back to it, I think, at various times of stress!

Nice collection of poems and very cheap for the quality of the binding you get.

A great selection of poems for good times and bad in life. Some I had never seen before as well as some old friends.

Enjoyable if you take your time. Like all poetry needs to be savoured.
