I bought this kit for vacation as we always rent a condo or Airbnb. I love to cook and this is perfect for bringing along my favorite spices. I used the screw top vials for extra spices instead of liquids (they come with a rubber stopper to prevent leaks which was a nice touch). The salt and pepper grinders were an added bonus, which is why I chose this set. The salt was a little tough to press down at first, maybe I shouldn't have filled it so high. But I followed the directions included to use two hands at first, and then it got easier. I used a label machine I have to create the labels and placed them so they would show through the space in between the holder. If you don't have a labeler, any sticker would work. I also like the spray bottle for your favorite oil. (NOTE: pictured is a small teaspoon that I added because it fits in the screw top vials, which I thought would be easier for sprinkling the spices. The spoon does not come with the set.) Overall this is a great travel set with a lot of options. If you love to cook and travel, this is the set for you.

A friend had this at a camping trip and my boyfriend fell in love with it, so I got him one for his birthday. He immediately filled it with everything he needed for camp cooking and we have gotten so much use out of it since! Every time we use it someone comments on how great it is!

This was a fun concept. The Salt & Pepper grinders are okay for coarse grinds. The cork tops for the spice jars won't secure the bottles at all, making them useless. It would have been fun on overland trips, but I can't count on the spices not getting everywhere since bottles will open on their own.

This kit is a great way to spice up your campout. It contains 8 jars that measure 4 inches long by 1 inch in diameter, larger than expected. Four of the jars have water tight screw on lids for liquids or spices, while the other four jars have cork caps. There's also a handy spray bottle for oil or whatever else you'd like to spritz in small doses. Included are two interesting spice grinders. I filled one with coarse salt and the other with peppercorns. I could grind the salt with one hand, but the pepper took both hands. All of the above are packaged in a cute waxed canvas bag, which should be water resistant if left outside during a storm. I only have two suggestions: first, the attached strings are on the same side of the pack, which seems like the pack would need to be hung in a horizontal position, rather than vertical. That could lead to some spilled spices. Second, the description stated that some labels were included to name the spices in each bottle, but there were no labels in the kit. No biggie, I'll just get some from my desk. Overall, I'd recommend this kit!

I purchased this to use while we're out camping. It's a cool portable little kit that lets you take your favorite spices with you. We've taken it out multiple times camping without any issue. The glass bottles that come with it are thick and sturdy and have not leaked thus far. As a bonus, we always get a laugh and a look of surprise from fellow campers when we break out the spice kit. Definitely recommend for your next camping trip!

The grinders worked flawlessly. Plenty of room for all the spices and herbs that I needed. Recommend this for your camping box.

The plastic threads on the Salt/Pepper shaker don't provide a secure hold. Especially if you are using salts with bigger grain like Sea Salt. The pressure will cause the two parts to separate and spill your salt everywhere! Overall decent product but very disappointed can't rely on the salt/pepper dispensers.
