PetSafe Clik-R Training Tool, Purple

Bought for our new puppy to use around treats. What was important was to find a clicker that first worked and secondly was loud enough for the dog to hear. This fits the bill. Its not the cheapest clicker but sometimes you get what you pay for and I was happy to pay this price for one clicker that I could see by the other reviews worked. I can confirm it does indeed. I am about to buy another, so I can have one and my husband can have one.

Great idea you have it all the time with you so brilliant for training, but the click is just not loud enough. Disappointed I had high hopes for this

I bought this item to train my young dog with, the clicker is so easy to use, I like that it has a little loop in it so you can wrap your finger around it. The click sound has been working great in training my dog basic commands. I would definitely recommend this clicker for those who are training their dogs as it’s simple, easy to use and great value for money!

I struggle to juggle the lead and treats so I moved on to an instant clicker system to recognize ‘that’s it’! then I’ll follow with a treat, this works well for me. I still struggled to have a wrist band type in the right place at the right time so this finger band is an excellent idea and it works well HOWEVER the clicker is just too quiet. Neither me or my dog could hardly hear it and it failed to get the ‘didn’t I do well’ response from my little one. Shame!

I am delighted with this product. With 5 dogs in our home, clicker training with positive reinforcement has proven very successful. The item slips snuggly on to a finger. I prefer my middle right, however my daughter in law prefers index finger left. The elastic is wide enough to hold the item secure without a pinch. If I let go, the item stays securely in place. Pressing the button for the 'click' to occur is effortless in comparrison to other clickers I have used. This makes the sound instant. We have been so delighted with the ease of use, we have bought these as presents. 5 stars is a must from us.

I got a four-year-old rescue dog in 2016, and six months later me and my partner got a French Bulldog as a puppy. As we both worked shifts and didn't have the time to fully train the puppy, she lapsed into the bad behaviour that the rescue came to us with. With the PetSafe Clik-R, training the dogs is incomparably easier. With a few treats and the distinctive sound of the click, the dogs have quickly associated the sound of the click with reward, and have therefore been taught more in since I bought the clicker than had learned in all the time before. While the packaging is a little frustrating (clamshell packaging is really not the future), the clicker itself is clear, robust and works.

Broke after less than one day

The product is great for keeping a free hand available by its simple loop to place over the finger. However the clicker isn’t very loud f so if you are walking your dog along side a road or in town the traffic the clicker can’t really be heard. If you are using it when training your dog click & treat to avoid the distraction of oncoming dogs etc then this isn’t the clicker for you.

Okay so I'll be honest, I don't use this dog clicker as it's intended, I use it for creating a visual cue in my work as I'm a voice actor and have to edit certain lines certain ways, and this dog clicker has been the one consistent thing in my booth with every upgrade as it has a nice solid click, that creates a very distinctive waveform that I can easily spot throughout the sea of waveforms that is my voice lines. It's comfortable to hold, and is simple to click, well as long as you're holding it right, trying to click it when it's sitting on a table or such isn't exactly easy XD It's small enough to not be in the way, but big enough I can get a good grip on it and not drop it when I'm trying to grab it quickly. And well of course the little finger band helps with that too, but I typically don't hold it while recording so as to not risk wacking it on something in my booth if I get too theatrical. I've also had this clicker for a year and a half as of writing this, and despite being under near-constant use, it works just as well and is in just as good condition as when I first got it. So the tldr is, great for voice actors, provides a solid waveform, fits well in my hand, and lasts excellently under prolonged use.

Aunque en la imagen del producto aparezca un perro, este aparato puede ser usado para entrenar todo tipo de animales (gatos, caballos, conejos, hurones, pericos, etc.). En mi caso lo compré para entrenar a mi gatita y aunque hasta ahora no hemos progresado mucho, estoy muy satisfecha con el producto. A pesar de ser muy simple, cumple perfectamente con su función y el sonido que emite no es ni muy fuerte ni muy débil (lo cual hace que sea ideal para entrenar gatos ya que estos se asustan con clickers que hacen demasiado ruido). Además, incluye un instructivo muy detallado (en inglés) que es ideal para principiantes (aunque también existen muchísimos videos en YouTube de los cuales se puede aprender). Por menos de 50 pesos, es una compra fenomenal ya que este producto no siempre se encuentra en tiendas (incluso en las especializadas en productos para mascotas). Solo Petco vende un clicker más barato que este pero el diseño y la calidad no tienen nada que ver. PetSafe jamás decepciona y este producto no es la excepción.

Clic clic de rappel fonctionne très bien

De clicker werkt niet, zelfs bij diep indrukken geen click. Op internet aanbevolen maar als dit een echte is dan is de productie kwaliteit slecht. Gelukkig van Amazon mijn geld terug gekregen. Clicker verdwijnt in de vuilnisbak.
