For the price of the item I do think a box is a basic.I have become quite addicted to the rose scent as I have gotten older, so when I see a product that has rose in it I get all excited. I haven't always felt like this, as prior to me have reflexology my experience of rose is that artificial horrible cheap toiletries scent. The proper pure rose is so very different to this and is wonderful.I have been trying to move onto more natural products where possible so this ticked all the boxes for me. The product is also certified organic and is formulated without mineral oil, silicone, synthetic fragrances, parabens, PEGs, PPGs, DEA, TEA, urea or phthalates.On a visual opinion of this product the packaging is simple yet stylish. The bottle is glass with a pipette so no chance of wastage or mess. The oil inside is slightly golden but beautifully clear. The smell of this product is divine. I really like the chunks of rose floating around in the bottle, it is so pretty.The product claim is that it is made with \"100% natural rose otto body oil with marula & real rose buds\" and it is\"ideal for massages\". \"Bulgarian Rose Otto is a one of the most beautiful and rare type of rose. It's a flower that's packed with therapeutic benefits. The oil encourages a feeling of happiness and contentment\".It contains a wonderful set of ingredients including the following oils: Marula seed, sunflower seed, coconut, rosehip, evening primrose, neroli, mandarin and rose Geranium. It also has the following essential oils: rose otto and bergamot. It is a good source of vitamin E.I applied the oil to damp skin and it sunk in with ease without leaving me greasy or sticky. I sleptlike a baby after using this! It can also be used on your hair etc, which makes it a great multi-functional product. I love this oil.It is currently selling for £19 so is quite pricey (I knocked a star off for this reason), but should last a while so does make it better value but think it is worth the initial outlay as a treat. It is best applied to the body after a shower or bath while the skin is still damp, as this locks in moisture. It is absorbed very quickly and has a wonderful rose scent but surprisingly (and disappointingly) I’ve found that this doesn’t seem to last long on the skin ie an hour later my skin was lovely and soft but had no hint of rose. The bottle and label are quite plain but it does stand out from the crowd by having a rose bud and a few petals in the oil. I have listed the contents (below) that are on my bottle as it appears to differ from that in the description and of another reviewer. To review a product properly I feel I should comment on the cost ie whither the product is value for money, at this moment the selling price is £19, so is it worth that?
