Works even better than I imagined!!
The media could not be loaded. Great value for the cost! Cleanly cuts the shell without applying much pressure or getting any shell in the egg at all!! I used a sharp knife before and this is SO much easier!

These scissors are great and make fast work of opening up my quail eggs. I should have gotten them sooner.

Don’t push too hard!
If you don’t push down on the egg too hard they work great. Initially I was trying to cut it as far down as possible and the tips would run into each other while cutting, causing the shears to bind and not cut all the way through the shell. Definitely made a mess until I figured out to be more gentle.Glad it came as a two pack. I shared one with my farmer so they didn’t have to use knives any longer. They loved them.

So convenient!
Our neighbor friends started giving us quail eggs recently. It is so nice of them but dealing with delicate egg shells and strong membrane was a pain. Then I heard there was a quail egg scissors available. Sometimes, I still get tiny broken egg shells so they are not perfect and need to keep rinsing with water while using them. However, overall with the price and convenience, these are nice tools to have!
