Absolutely fantastic, works great for pasting wallpaper. This is the first brush that hasn’t gone rusty after first day of wallpapering

No handle with this brush

I chose this brush because it doesn’t have a metal ferrule to go rusty on me. The handle itself is sturdy and the brush washed well. That’s the good bit.The brush itself isn’t that great though because the bristles are too rigid. I had to keep looking at my pasted wallpaper from different angles because bits kept getting missed. I put this down to there being insufficient flexibility in the bristles to successfully completely cover the area you are trying to brush over. I lost count of the amount of times I had to go back over areas that I had definitely brushed over but didn’t have paste applied in small spots. Annoying. I expected better from Stanley.

The brush did what it meant too but in a very messy manner…The brush & handle kept unscrewing from each other. This often resulted in the brush itself plummeting into the wallpaper paste & the handle remaining in my hand… So I repeatedly had to extract it from the bucket by hand, wipe it off & red rew it. Caused a bit of mess & loss of time… I know this was only cheap, but it’s a brand I considered to be well known for quality.

You need very small hands for this paste brush to be comfortable to use. Disappointed
