Great quality and value at a realistic price point from a solid company !
Well I must admit I'm Impressed ! Just when I thought klarus had hit their ceiling when it comes to performance they've yet again to surprise me ! I own both the G20 model and this G20L model so I was able to Compare the two side by side and I admit I was a bit turned off by the slight increase in size but once I fired the new G20L up not only did I understand the larger bezel I was more then impressed with the way the new larger bezel design kept the center of the beam tighter while gently flooding around the beam minimizing splash back ( I know there's a specific term for this it's escaping me at the moment ) that said there is a definite improvement in performance over the G20 which also boast a 3000LM output and it's built like a tank all and all this is a great utility - camping - bug out bag flash light and would make a solid addition to anyone's kit !

It fills a two lane road from side to side and projects a good distance up the road with no "hot spots" in ...
This is my first "real LED flashlight". I have plenty of the low lumen grocery store lights around the house but wanted something that could turn night into day. That's what this light does. I mainly use if for walking the dog at night and find that the G20L is neither too "floody" not too "spotty" but is right in the middle. It fills a two lane road from side to side and projects a good distance up the road with no "hot spots" in the beam. I have smallish hands but this fits nicely and it is well balanced. The two buttons are easy to use once you figure out how to switch modes. My only wish is that the 3rd light intensity setting were 1000 lumen rather than 650. Based on my experience with this light I will probably replace some of my other cheap lights with some of the smaller Klarus lights for around the house. One of the great things about these lights is that they are rechargeable via USB -- no more recycling AA and AAA batteries! The G20L is brand new to the market so there are few reviews to be found. From what I can tell the G20L is just a slightly modified version of the G20 with a different reflector to give it a little more "throw" than the G20 -- all the other specs look almost identical. The G20L seems to fit right in the middle between the G20 and the G35 in terms of throw. One important thing to note about this "package deal" is that the DC / car charger and the wall outlet charger only output at 5V - 1000mA; however, the G20L can take up to 2000mA for faster charging.I subtracted two stars from the review because the charger information is not disclosed. I did add one star back in as the package went on sale right after I purchased it and the retailer refunded me the difference after I contacted them. They did also state that they will update the package information regarding the chargers. Good customer service!

Great flashlight... but is it really 3000 lumens?
Everything about this flashlight screams quality, and for about $100 it should. I mostly got this light because I’m rich and I had money to blow and I was actually curious about the stated 3000 lumens.I have a few other 1000 lumen flashlights from a couple high end Nitecores to cheaper, but still great, Soonfire knockoffs. I always thought they were great, high light output flashlights so I thought, why not, let’s go wild man and get 3000 lumens. Let’s piss off my neighbors at night with a little sun hand cannon shining in their bedroom window. Let’s blind my wife to shut her up when she yells at me for spending $100 on a fricken flashlight.Well, I was let down. In my super duper unscientific opinion I’d wager this light reaches 1100-1200 lumens. When compared to my other flashlights I was hard pressed to see much of a visual difference considering it’s 3x the lumens. Even given the larger light emitter I’m not sure 3000 lumens is attainable on a single bulb. I’d say sure with multiple emitters coupled with a hella large reflector, but this particular flashlight isn’t sporting that set up, now is it?With that said, I’m hard pressed to remove any stars as this thing is nice. I’d go so far as to say sexy even. Yea... if you’re a flashlight nerd, this thing is sexy. I love the chasity belt... oops, I’m still in sexy mode, I love the lock out feature to prevent accidental operation because on turbo it can get rather hot. It has voluptuous curves with a little pineappling for grip. *licks lips* grip that thing hard, don’t be shy. And if you have trouble gripping it because you have little lady hands I t’s got a nice strap to hold on to when things get rambunctious. Oh yea, you feeling frisky? Then slap this lady right on her tail switch. Slap it good, it turns her on. Or just use your thumb, whatever.Ok, I’m bored now. Great light... suspect lumen outputUpdate: the 3000 lumens really comes into play when outside. The overall illumination and throw distance is actually quite noticeable as compared to when used in an indoor setting up against a 1000 lumen flashlight. So yeah... this be 3000 lumens... yay :)

Turning night into day!
Very happy with this purchase. Debating for quite a while due to price. Had it for a year now with no regrets. Waterproof, super bright, long lasting battery, and takes a beating rather well. Worth every penny

Kind of a bummer - the button is not easy to locate when using this a lot and working with it frequently. This is because the opposite side of the button has the charging port. So you feel it with your thumb and then you have to rotate the light. Seems minor, but if you use this daily as I do (home inspector) it is a pain and causes delays. Also, important note: to turn it off you have to hold the button down for a full 1.5 sec or so. Which is also minor if you use this occasionally. However its annoying if you use it all the time.

This flashlight is the best flashlight that I ever had. It super bright (3,000lm) and it is very high quality product. It is completely waterproof. And came with a USB light, car charger and the USB recharging cable. I recommend this flashlight for everyone that wants to do a outdoor activity.

I bought 3 to compare, absolutely love it. The only complaint is that the cover for the charging port is not secure and easily comes of and can be lost and now water can get in and damage
