Was as expected good scissors for my cross stitch

Whilst the scissors themselves are well made and work well, although better suited to small fingers, they could not be delivered due to Amazon's policy regarding age.When delivered, my 91 year old mother answered the door and was asked to show proof of age (must be over 18).I thought this must be a joke but then I was also asked (I'm 65) but said it must be obvious that we are both not teenagers anymore, added to which, Amazon already know my age.I don't have a current passport and my driving license would require finding so eventually I told the courier to keep them.I contacted Amazon Customer Services and was told that it was the policy and just because I "looked old" (which is a tactless and unacceptable way to describe a customer) basically I could take it or leave it; so I left it and bought from ebay. They were dropped through the letterbox a couple of days later and were cheaper than Amazon Prime.So the scissors are good, the Amazon service less so in this case.

Excellent, sharp scissors can use in both hands

After having owned a pair of red handled Fiskars scissors for over 18 years it was time to buy some new ones due to the handle snapping on my old ones :(These scissors are very sharp and have very nice blades on them as with any Fiskars scissors. They are lightweight and fairly comfortable to use although I would have to say they are not as comfortable on the fingers as my 18 year old ones. It seems that Fiskars now makes the handles of the scissors slightly thinner and less ergonomic than they used to, my old scissors had more chunky rounded handles to them whereas these scissors seem to be thinner and less rounded.Overall they are really nice scissors but not a patch on my 18 year old Fiskars when it comes to comfort using them. I hope Fiskars go back to their more ergonomic styling.

It's a pair of Fiskars scissors, good quality as expected. Worth the small amount extra over cheapos.
