Excellent book covering all the major topics in a straightforward easy to understand way.Good value and every parent should have a copy.As to age range, although some of the content is suitable for junior school children (or to enable their parents to help them) those aged 11-14 will probably get the most out of it. A good reminder for parents though.

If you're a teacher, a teacher in training or even a parent wanting to help your child(ren) succeed in maths then this is the book for you!! As a child maths wasn't my strongest point but since starting my teacher training and having to plan maths lessons for 4 weeks I turned to this little book and by God it was a life saver. I was able to give a maths lesson on the Fibonacci Sequence and all the children successfully completed the lesson in one fifth of the time they were given. I was really impressed and since then all my lessons have been better because of this book.

This book is very helpful! I use it to review a subject before explaining it to my daughter. It also gives examples that help her understand.

Conozco varios diccionarios matemáticos en inglés pero éste tiene unas definiciones muy claras y correctas, cuadros de una página en los que se ve de golpe todo muy bien resumido como las leyes de las potencias. Además no es muy grande para llevártelo contigo.
