I fell in love with the Forge I bought about 3 years ago. So much so, it was my Holiday gift to my family and friends. I was heartbroken when Camel Back stopped selling them and was elated when the new Forge came out. So I bought the 12 oz version which fits perfectly under my Coffee pod machine and which helps me from putting so much Java in that I float to work. So the smaller size is a star as well as the heat retention (seems as good as the old version about 2-3 hours YMMV), no spills, fits great in my car's cup holder. But... unlike the older version the lid's gate (is that the right term) is not intuitive. The old version's gate had a button on top of the locking mechanism that you pressed to keep it open and then with a little pressure closed. Smart. The new version has a button on the side which you have to push and in my case, check to see if the gate opens. I had a slight dribble problem on the new version on the back side below the lever. This I resolved by waiting a moment after taking a drink. As you can see from my pics, my old Forge is still good to go, and gets its use on longer rides. Oh did I mentioned I bought a second older version when it was available for cold drinks? You can never have too much Sun Tea on a summer road trip.

I got one of these to replace a damaged Contigo tumbler. It works better only in one way: the lid has a built-in loop that lets you hang the mug from a carabiner or pack strap. My issue with the mug is the drink mechanism--if you are not careful how you use it, it will dribble on you after you drink. I find that you need to open the door just a crack, and be sure to slurp up all of your liquid, after closing it. If you close it too late, you could dribble. I also think the mechanism is too stuff, it seems to require about 2x the force as my Contigo did. This product has not only a beautiful color but also the new, feature that gives anyone using it, the ability to carry it better. The finger grip at the top aids with this and I like that feature especially when you have to carry a lot of stuff at the same time.

I really wanted to like this travel mug. I like the size and having used “button action” type lids in the past I was excited about this cup. It’s a great size and I found I really liked having the loop to use when my hands were full. The downfall is the lid. It leaks.

Threads align better than previous models.One issue if you have arthritis or weak hands it might be hard for you to use.

Arrived today with a stuck button and bent pegs that crumbled off. As a result, I can open the less flow button and when I press it to sip, the top flips up because it doesn’t have pegs to catch it. Super disappointed because I own two other camelback mugs that are so old they are no longer produced. Those were heavy duty, while this has an inherent design flaw. So even though I just got it, I can’t use it. Sent an email to product support inquiring about replacement lids. If I can get one at a reasonable price, I will update the review. If not, this will be recycled.

Works great, very durable and its leakproof, no problems with leaking thus far. Quality bottle , and a good value for the money!

I bought a cup for £28. After a few weeks, it started to drip. I contacted the seller by e-mail, I saw that the letter was read, but I did not receive any reply. I really do not recommend this seller because he sells low quality products at a high price.

Light weight and easy to use. It doesn’t leak even when I turned it upside down and gave it a good shake. Keeps my coffee hot for about 7 hours.

I bought this as a present for someone elderly who found it difficult to squeeze the trigger to open it to drink from. The other issue mentioned was the mug does not keep the area you drink from clean as it is exposed. This suggests that although the promotion videos shows people doing active recreations, this mug is perhaps best suited for use in a car or on your desk if there is a danger of dropping or knocking it over.
