Oxford Russian Grammar and Verbs

This book condenses a lot of information into a small space, but doesn't scrimp on detail - it covers all the major points of larger grammars such as Wade's huge Russian Grammar tome, but is compact enough to carry round in your pocket.Each point is very clearly explained with a lot of vocabulary in the examples - very useful for boosting your base vocabulary in Russian as you revise / learn the grammar.The verbs section is perhaps a little short, and you might want to supplement the book with another dedicated, more detailed verb book like  The Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs: 555 Fully Conjugated Verbs (Big Book of Verbs Series) , but as far as grammar guides go, you won't miss any of the important points by relying on this handy guide!

As far as the Russian language is concerned, 'there is a lot of grammar'... Without a background in Latin the terminology can be something of a mystery; Masculine, femimine and neuter nouns are relatively easy to spot but having to change the endings according to their use can present problems. This is covered early in the book, which I found helpful.The book provides back up on all aspects of grammar for someone who has attended Rusian classes.It is not really a book for a beginner in the language.

I think it is really going to be a great help, but I have not had much time to use it yet. However, a quick glance through tells me it is going to be a great help in my studies.

I have other Grammar books that promise things like "made easy", "made simple", and...."for beginners", but this book delivers!, it says on the cover" clear and simple explanations" and that's exactly what it does.Grammar in any language is always a pain, but this book has thousands of examples, covering every aspect of " Nom,Acc,Gen, Dat,Ins and Prep. The work is even defined into different typeface for different examples, making it easier to search for worked examples just by spotting the typeface relative to the required subject. In short, for learning Grammar quickly and painlessly, this book is a winner.

Essa versão é muito pequena! O papel não é de qualidade (reciclável) porém, a impressão é boa e os exemplo de como "hackear" a língua são válidos. Recomendado para quem já possui um conheicmento médido do idioma russo.

Básicamente le ponngo 5 estrellas porque el contenido que tiene está muy bien estruturado y lo más importante, lo tienes todo, desde normas para hacer plurales, declinaciones, etc. Además, tiene un tamaño muy pequeño cosa que te permite llevarlo a todos sitios sin que te moleste.Si lo entiendes todo hablarás y escribirás ruso a la perfección pero óbviamente con trabajo y horas de estudio porque sino no lo vas a conseguir. Digo esto porque he visto comentarios en los que decían que las explicaciones son muy difíciles, que no se entienden muy bien y bla bla. Vamos a ver, el Ruso no es una lengua fácil, bueno, de hecho digo Ruso como puedo decir Español, Japonés, Chino, etc y si no le metéis horas pues no lo vais a aprender. Me remito al dicho "NO PAIN, NO GAIN", por lo que basta ya de quejarse y poneros a estudiar de una vez.¡Este libro sirve pero hacen falta ganas de aprender así que ánimo!

Best book for Russian grammar.
