I recently bought the Alton Padded Paneled Divan Headboard to refresh the look of our guest bedroom, and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. If you’re after a simple, elegant way to elevate your bed without a complete replacement, this headboard is a fantastic option.Straight out of the box, the build quality is excellent. The frame is solid and sturdy, with well-secured upholstery that feels both soft and hardwearing. I chose the grey colour option, which has a neutral, modern tone that goes with almost any bedding or wall colour. The panelled design adds just the right amount of visual interest — smart and understated without being over the top.The padded surface makes it very comfortable to lean back on while reading or watching TV, and the foam feels firm enough to hold its shape over time without sagging.Fitting the headboard was easy. It comes with standard fittings and struts that aligned perfectly with our divan base. The instructions were clear, and it took less than 10 minutes with a screwdriver. Once attached, it feels very secure — no wobble, and it sits neatly flush against the wall.What I really liked is that it gives the whole bed a more premium, hotel-like appearance, even though it’s just a headboard change. It completely transformed the feel of the room without needing to buy a new frame or mattress.One small note: it is designed for standard UK divans, so make sure to check your fixing points line up. Lovely headboard, I ummed and ahh'd between ivory or cream, chenille, suede or damask finally settled on ivory chenille and pleased with my choice. Delivered covered in thick plastic which took some patience to prise the staples out but definitely kept it in good nick for transport. Assembly instructions were stapled on the reverse, pretty simple to follow, I've opted to have sitting low behind the mattress as my preference. Great value for money, well made and I'm happy with it.

Firstly, it's a good product for the price, not as well padded as more expensive ones, but that's to be expected, I was very worried when it arrived by a third party courier and only packed in a thick plastic bag/sheet that was stapled around the headboard I spent 30mins removing staples from the back of the headboard before I could remove the bag. Wrapped around the corners were fabric pieces, to protect them, it was very lucky that the courier was careful with the headboard, as the corners and sheet would not have protected them.The fabric is nice, the wooden supports are well made, but not very thick, it could have done with longer struts as I've only managed to use one set of fixing bolts on the bed. So 4 out of 5, due to packaging and strut length. Also it went right to the last day predicted for delivery.

The media could not be loaded. I was super pleased with this purchase. As I had a limited budget I could not afford the prices of some headboards. It is well made and looks great. I will definitely buy from you again!!!

I didn't hold out much hope considering the price but this is brilliant.Lovely quality. Fit was great. Needed to buy screws but that's about it.Lovely and soft and looks a lot more expensive than it is!

Perfectly adequate headboard and Looks nice from the front, well padded etc. The back is less than perfect with staples everywhere and roughly cut backing, wooden struts a bit rough but you don't see any of that as it's up against the wall. Easy to put together and fix to bed.

A excellent headboard easy to construct and great quality product it came well packaged.The only thing I didn't like was the plastic packaging was stapled to the back of the headboard which you had to be removed before you could take off the plastic but didn't damage the headboard.

I had to remove the black felt at the back of the headboard in order to find the pre made fixing holes, came with screw to fix headboard and legs together but did not come with screws to fix headboard to bed, I’ve had to order them separately.Apart from that it’s a good purchase for the money you spend.
