GiovanniStraight Fast- Eco Chic Hair Straightening Elixir (6.8 Ounces)

Excellent product. Was not sure what to expect - mainly chose it as I have had other great Giovanni products before and the brand is cruelty-free. This product leaves my hair so smooth and visibly straighter when applied before blow drying (or on damp hair before straightening if left to dry naturally) and makes the straightening process so much quicker and easier. You need hardly any to make a difference to your hair and it does not weigh it down or make hair greasy as I have found with so many other products. Would definitely recommend, I am delighted with this product.

I have Afro 4C natural hair and on the brief occasions when I straighten my hair I use this product. I became familiar with Giovanni products for natural Afro hair from USA You tube reviews and used their conditioning cream then decided to use their products for when I straighten my hair.Non fragranced, non sticky and reduced frizz.(Can be used on European hair too)Constant re purchase

This is good stuff. It makes my unruly hair more manageable and is eco friendly to boot. What more could you ask for.

I think the only thing that would have made my hair look any more flat & greasy than this product would have been if I'd melted a block of lard and combed that through it instead. I wouldn't say I used an excessive amount of this at all but what I did use left my hair feeling sticky, oily and looking so horrible that I could have cried. But rather than have a breakdown I was in my bathroom at nearly 10.30pm applying copious amounts of talcum powder to my head in a desperate attempt to soak some of it up before I went to bed, given it was far too late to be going back into the shower to re-wash my hair. The result? Going into work the next day looking like Mrs Doubtfire. And the awful stuff didn't even straighten my hair like it claims to! The rest of it went straight in the bin!

An excellent product for blow drying damp hair. Only a pea size amount is needed for each section and smoothed throughout the hair giving a great finish with lovely scent.

It takes my frizz n flyaway hair. The fragrance is good too

Love this product! I have very thick and very long, nearly to my waist hair that’s going gray. My hair has gone from nearly Black and perfectly straight to gray, curly and frizzy over the last 5 years and trying to adapt to dealing with unmanageable hair has been a real challenge. I have to use a hot iron after every wash now and the Giovanni straightening gel helps to straighten and tame it down! It stays straight and soft even in damp humid weather which is important because without it my hair will frizz up horribly in humidity. it cuts down the time I have to straighten each section of hair with the hot iron because my now gray lockes are coarse so time spent with the hot iron became a 45 minute ordeal twice a week but with the help of Giovanni it now only takes me 20 minutes to straighten my hair with help from the hot iron. As soon as I brush it through my damp or dry hair the frizz and curls relax immediately and my hair is instantly easier to deal with. Remember to only use a LITTLE BIT and rub in your palms snd fingers then pat gently over hair or run your fingers through your hair then brush it in and then use the hot iron. I absolutely can’t use a hair dryer anymore because it makes my hair a complete frizz ball so I let my hair air dry until it’s barely damp and then lightly pat the Giovanni straightener over my hair section by section and then brush it completely through my hair and the brush glides easily through now relaxed hair. Without the Giovanni brushing my hair after a washing was torture but after Giovanni it’s so much easier to handle. Don’t hesitate to get this product to relax your unmanageable, frizzy, curly hair!! Just use a little bit because otherwise you hair becomes greasy and sticky so just rub in a tiny dab in your palms to run your palms and fingers through your hair then brush it through all of your hair. My hair is very long and thick but just one tube lasts me an entire year of using it twice a week.

The best for straighening..

I have tried this product per the instruction and it didn't straighten my hair at all. I have wavy hair, not even curly and I tried it a few times. Each time it didn't work... now I am using it as a gel because the only thing I love about it is the smell...

I like the results after applying product to hair. What I didn’t like it was a bit heavy for my hair because I didn’t want to have very fine hair.
