3 Pieces Knockdown Texture Spray Stencil Drywall Repair Tool K
This texture stencil is working great. Our wall texture is unusual but really cool looking. My husband just uses a paint brush to work with the stencil to repair areas in our home we just bought. I am amazed at how the areas he works on match the wall texture. It is worth the purchase!

Quick, easy and cheap!
These are so much easier then the spray on patch and match my existing texture about 90%. You wouldn't even notice the patches unless I point them out to you. Best part is I have them for the next time I need to patch vs. buying a $20 bottle of spray each time. Just have to mix up a tiny bit of mud and you're ready to go.

Sturdy, good idea
I bought these to add texture to a portion of my ceiling that I repaired so it would blend in better with the rest. I had to remove the edges of one square so there wasn't a blank strip between the existing and new texture. Don't expect it to exactly match if your texturing was done by hand by the wallboard installer, but this is much easier than the spray product. I could never master 'knocking' that stuff down. If you have bought the spray, you know what I mean. The only improvement I would make is for each square to be a bit different: 1 with large and medium patches, 1 with medium and small, 1 with small and tiny. I'm satisfied with them, though.

A decent repair
This is much easier than trying to use a knockdown sponge and putty knife. The main drawback is that unless the pattern matches the existing it will stand out. I used it on the garage ceiling and it came out pretty good. One tip is to use a damp paper towel to change the height of some of the shapes and to blend in the sides. I would probably use it again but maybe use painters tape to cover some of the shapes.

These templates worked, but the blue dye came off and colored the project..
For the most part, these template worked well enough. I used them to texture a ceiling repair. However, the blue dye used on the plastic, leeched off onto the ceiling when the template when the drywall mud was applied. If you use these you will need to be careful to prime completely once the textured result is dry, and then paint thoroughly. ALSO - these templates should be much larger. working with tiny templates like these is painstaking.

Ok at best
Flimsy, small, hard to use and only somewhat functional.
